We hired Kendra Hill at IASA Consulting in Texas to market our in house photographer, she took $1,500.00 and did nothing that she could verify. We asked her for copies of emails she sent out, she never replied, we contacted people she said she would contact and they indicated she did not reach out. She said she would put out a news release, she sent the release to us and it was terrible, we didn't ok it because a child could have written it better. We asked her for changes and got no reply.
Every time we tried to reach her she ignored us so really what she did is take $1,500.00 that was to cover 3 months of PR and marketing, and did nothing other than 1 very bad press release that went no where. The whole time we waited on her she was all over social media preaching and advertising herself but never what she was paid to do.
I asked her for proof of anything she did and she ignored me, we got excuses like she was stuck in a storm and had no access to internet, while at the same time on social media preaching and advertising herself.
We lost 1500.00 and did ask for it back, as she did nothing that we could verify and she just continued to ignore us. I don't want to see others taken by people like this... they preach about God and so you think they must be honest, of course this is a very popular tactic for scammers. I have no idea if her intent was to scam or if she's just incompetent, I can't judge that but she is one or the other.
