I was sent an "Email" for cancellation of gym member ship after already paying for a month in advance that i had informed them i would not be attending. I was just trying end the Membership so i just made the payment. Come to find out that my cancellation that was suppose to be sent VIA Postal Mail hadn't processed and wasn't notified untill 2 months later with additional late fees to an already cancelled membership "so i was under the impression" seeing how i payed a month ahead which both partys understood would not be attended. I make multiple phone calls to both locations of the Gym so that i could speak with a manager which never seemed to be available and was told that i would get contacted by three times and never recieved a single call. ABC financial is the company that deals with these sorts of transactions, i spoke with them on the phone and they said they could have the fees waved if i could have a manager from the gym let them know what needed to be waved, which as i previously stated was impossible to get in contact with. So two months later making a total of five months this issue persisted with fee after fee racking up, im sure! I recieve a text stating that they would wave my last late charge and make a payment plan so it doesn't hit collections. I have had the money the entire time but the principle of the situation would not let me pay. Seeing how they had already taken a months payment from me, a mailing process of cancellation which adds time for late fees and all sorts of unecessary non sense to become a situation all for an extra dollar. This Gym is a scam, unprofessional and all around not worth it. Equipment is falling apart, the customer service is basically a collections office. RUN.
We me my cousin Keisha joined after 1 visit I wanted out. gave my member card to the. And was told I was released to keep sexual harassment from getting public. Michelle the manager struck the deal I would leave Keisha would leave no hard feelings . Keisha went a few times a employe started texting wanting dates from her after she refused he continued .i fit assured me were not going to be charged anymore. Well surprise they told me today it was just as much her fault .they fired a innocent man . They read the text messages then and was on her side .now all is changed ifit told me to get a lawyer they were gonna keep debuting my account until I send a registered letter. I am gonna send a letter but ifit did not want publicity and fired this employee . Assured me it was done that the man would not be sending messages . If Michelle would have said you will still have to send a letter to be free of contract I would have. At the time they wanted peace and no law suits
