Hydroluxe Beauty Reviews

Hydroluxe free trial, VISA inly to cover the postage. I cannot stop them from coming, at $128 a bottle this is hurting me. I am a senior citizen and on a fixed pension.

I cannot contact them to tell them to stop, cannot send the cream back.

  • Sep 21, 2017

Hydroluxe is sending wrinkle control cream which I did not authorize to me and using a credit card I gave them for a one time use. They get you to give them a credit card number to mail a gift for filling out a survey and use that card to charge more product that you did not order. Never trust Hydroluxe.

Received a "free" trial offer for eye cream and wrinkle cream, paid shipping totaling $11.75 USD

approximately 15 days later, i checked my creditcard statement and was charged 2 transactions of 116.67and 128.38USD, these were not authorized so i called credit card company and was told to contact the company and have the charges reveresed. They supposedly cancelled any further transactioons but i am forced to send back the product and pay for the shipping and get a minimal amount back totaling $100.00 USD.

Unfortunately being from Canada with exchange rate etc., it can take up to 3 months to resolve this problem and the scumbag company will continue to scam people. I hope my posting in this forum might save someone my fate.

An e-mail was sent to my box saying Ellen Degeneres had a surprise in her basket for Canadians. It was a free sample of her new "Hydrolux Beauty Cream" Absolutely FREE - TRIAL and only the shipping fees were to be charged. I received two (2) samples. The REAL SURPRISE came on my credit card statement the next month! Not only they had charge 4.95$ US + 3.95$ US (plus conversion) TOTAL: 11.43$ Canadian funds + two other charges:

99.95$ US + 89.95$ US (plus conversion) TOTAL: 247.95$ Canadian Funds!! After reaching their so called support customer service, they told me I had agreed to an automatic renewal and that I had failed to return the products in the 14 days regulations. What regulations- I have never been informed of this policy at all!! so how could I had failed to??? nevertheless, I sent them an e-mail and the response from Ms. Reina Dequino saying after this 14 days I would be charged every month, cause apparently the products I had received was for a 30 day supply.

She stated that they would make an exception and they would cancel the next shipments and they offer a an 80.00$ US courtesy refund on my credit card! which I don't agree at all. I have then called Master Card and they

do not want to cancell the charges. Master Card representative was on the tel. line with me and the merchand and the lady at Hydrolux Co. offered a 100.00$ credit if I would return the products at my charge and for which I also refused this option. After all this mic mac I have decided to cancel my credit card and I will returned the products and wait for what is going to happen. This Co. has several offices where they ship the orders, nevertheless, the main office is in Florida and this is the reason why the fees are in US Funds.

I felt this was a situation for complaint and at the same time I hope that my report will help other people to avoid this kind of situation. As an advice: Do not order from these Co,

The offer was for a free trial cream if you pay for shipping only. I was to believe if you liked the product you could order more. Terms and conditions were too small to read. On receiving the second box I immediately cancelled future orders and the representative stated he would refund 100 dollars to my credit card. I was puzzled as the shipping was about 3 dollars. He stated my card had already been charged 189 dollars. I was shocked and agreed he should cancel any future payments. After checking into this product and online complaints I called back to suggest I return the second unopened shipment for full refund. I was told I already authorized a refund but insisted I was not happy with the end result.

This company is unethical and the product is not what they say it is. They report incorrect information to get you to order the "free" sample and then proceed to bill you if you haven't cancelled in 14 days. However, the question is cancel what, as you only signed up to get the free sample and pay the shipping and handling fees?

I used the product and it didn't feel like the claims they made that it was all natural, etc. so I googled the company and realized that there are alot of unhappy customers. I called the customer support line and were told they were within their rights to bill me and when I confronted them on the false claims they use to lure customers in the representative hung up on me!

I reported them to the Fraud department of my credit card company who cancelled my credit card, big headache for me, but also reversed the charge that they had posted on my account today. This company needs to be stopped. Hopefully, the Fraud department will help to shut them down and posting on sites such as this will help.

Watched a advertisment on the internet about a fabulous new wrinkle cream. They offered a trail amount to try the cream.

I ordered the trail offer and never gave anything else a thought until, I received another order in the mail. when we checked our credit card we found they charged us for the total amount of the cream and for the trail amount.

Next we find another order had arrived. We called our credit card company and they confirmed what we concerned about. I had been scamed for nearly $ 500.00 Canadian dollars instead of only the trail amount.

They called Hydroluxe for us to help arrange a return of our funds. The company absolutly refused to do anything for us. They finally informed us of their 14 day cancelation policy. Since we did not cancel they would simply keep chargeing us fot the face cream.

I guess I along with many others are scammed by con artists. This company needs to be closed down. Should be exposed on national news in order that more innocent people can be protected.

This cannot be positive for internet sales. Time to get rid of the ripoff companies such as this one. My only solice is that I'm not alone in this ugly scam.

I saw an ad on FACEBOOK for a wrinkle control product (JUNE 2017). The ad said I coud get a free sample if I agreed to pay for the shipping. In the process of providing my credit card information the site offered me multiple deals on discounted product if I agreed to buy at this point in time. I did not as I was only interested in the sample.

When the sample arrived there was another product in with it (June 2017) . I had been sent two products. I thought this was a mistake. Then (July 2017) I received another two packages in the mail. I did not open these packages as I did not want them.

Then on my visa statement I saw I had been billed over $100 foreach of the two products and then saw on my following statement (Aug 17) I had been billed yet again.

In total I have now been billed over $500 for what I thought was $4 in shipping for a sample. When I tried to speak with the company they informed me that I had agreed to their terms and conditions and that included paying full price for the samples and signing up for a subcription for the two products.

When I complained I did not and wanted a refund they offered to cancel the subscription and offered a $100 refund but would not refund me in full for the product even when I said I would be returning packages that had not been opened. I photographed the packages. Then they sent another email from another person saying they would no longer be offering a refund.

When I asked the company to send me a copy of the agreement I supposedly agreed to I got a typed description of what they said I agreed to and not the actual agreement itself.

When I spoke with the resolution department of my credit card company they said these cases can be difficult to resolve because of these agreements. The did say to ask for an RMA # and to return the product and provide a tracking number to the company so you could prove the product had been returned.

After 15 days If I don't see a refund I can go back to the credit card company and have them persue the return. I communicated mostly by email to maintain a paper trail record of the conversations and agreements that were made. I will be continuing with this in as many avenues and ways to pursue a full refund because I can't afford these charges and because I believe this company and their process is wrong, sneaky and fraudulent.

As I work my way through various complaint forums they have since emailed me with conflicting and insufficient information about a refund even though I continue to request account information and clarification.

Bounty the product on line as a trail end up with $130 credit card bill

  • Aug 11, 2017

Do not get trap in this scam. They offer you a low price for a product and charge you the full price after 14 days. I don't recall this notice on my order. Just call the company. They have cancelled the futur transaction. The lady mentionned some "fees". I told her that I don't want more transcation on my credit card. I will see on my next statement.

A promotion was offered on Facebook. I purchased a free trial on June 13, 2016 for $5.39 (shoipping) from Healthy Rub and another $6.71 (shipping) from BioLeap Bioeyesserum (Los Angeles, Calif.). Once I received these products, I immediately contacted them by phone. Both Products were labled Hydroluxe. I cancelled any further deliveries and received cancellation numbers. I left for the Philippines on July 6, 2017. After reviewing my Mastercard bill, I noticed a charge from Healthy Rub for $119.93 on June 17, 2017. Again there was another charge on my Mastercard for $124.74 on July 29. I investigated my Mastercard bill after receiving a tracking notification from Canada Post dated July 29, 2017. I changed my address to a PO Box in Nanaimo, BC Post Office at the end of June. I only received the tracking notice for the July 29 shipment from Healthy Rub. Based on my free promotion, I presume these shipments are for Hydroluxe.

  • Jul 27, 2017

I saw their ad when we moved, throught the united post office website when updating your mailing address. It said free face cream to try only shipping.

No where did it say it was a 14 dya trial on the site and then you will be billed $99.95. I found the charge on my account. I tried to call them 305-428-2638 they would not refund my money said I signe up for the product when I paid for shipping.

No way, it said I would be in some subcrition if I paid for shipping or I would have never done it. Thankfully my credit union will refund my money. After researching more on this company seems to me I'm not the only perosn who was mislead on this. I have reported them to the attorney general as well.

Company is a total rip off, please be careful!

  • Jul 25, 2017

Hydroluxe is a scam in the sense that you think that you are purchasing some samples. Reality is that you are actually signing up for a very expensive subscription to stuff you would not have purchased at that price.

The quality of the products leaves to be desired.

  • Jul 5, 2017

Later I noticed $135 had come out of my m/c. They were willing to give $30 back but I want it all back

They just keep billing my m/c even after telling them not to

  • Jun 27, 2017

Saw a flashy video on Facebook advertising skin care samples for $4.95 shipping fees. Went through the confusing and convuluted ordering process. When it came to "terms and services" there was nothing displayed to read. Only a check mark box. I clicked it and went through the ordering process. I wanted a wrinkle cream. In the meantime they ask you if you want an additional moisturizer which I declined but through pop ups and confusing website prompts ended up ordering as well. I wasn't too upset as it only cost $5.95 for the moisturizer. A few days later, the items showed up in tiny little containers. I laughed because they were so small and shook my head for ordering something so ridiculous online. One I didn't fully feel good about ordering once I went through the confusing process. Flash forward to today. I had my debit card cancelled by my bank and flagged for fraugh because some unknown company called "Diamond Beauty" charged my chequing account $135 CAD. I called the bank and they stated that it looked like fraud so they cancelled my card so no further charges could be made. Which I am THANKFUL for because turns out the diamond beauty co is somehow related to Hydroluxe and they charged me the $135 for the wrinkle cream and would have charged another $100 for the moisturizer had my bank not caught it! I called Hydroluxe and got the run around. A very rude agent stated that their terms and services said that they would charge me full price after 14 days unless I contact them to cancel and return the original product. I in no way, shape or form got any indication of this at the time of sign up. I thought they were free samples that I paid shipping on. Even in the initial confirmation emails, nothing was stated that it was a subscription and that I would be required to pay full price, after 14 days. The agent told me they would NOT refund the money and kept referring to the terms and services. I got so frustrated I hung up on them. Email correspondence proved to be useless as well. They have a generic reply that comes from someone else's name each time you email them. TD bank has started a dispute to recover the money this company STOLE from me. I tried to report their Facebook group to Facebook but I can only block them. They're a scam and a rip off and stealing people's money. I really hope someone, somewhere does something! Also, I'll never ever purchase from a shady facebook ad again. I sure learned my lesson the hard way.

  • Jun 17, 2017

On March 28/29, 2017- there appeared on my i pad a very classy, well done, flashing ad about a $4.95 offer of two hydrolux products by Jeunesse. I ordered them. I received them in the mail around April 14/15. I then received a second shipment a few weeks later around May 14/15/16.I thought that it was a mistake, a duplicate. I never opened the second shipment, since I have actually hardly even used the first shipment, and I do not care for the items anyway. A month later, around June 13, I received a third shipment, and I started to get suspicious. The return address only reads - PO BOX 500 Toronto, On. m3j 0j8. I then checked my credit card and discovered that I have been charged ~ $670. in Canadian funds since I ordered the special offer in March. ON March 29, 2017 $6.80 and also ON Mar 29, 2017 $5.41- and this is all I signed up for and all I expected for the 2 products!! I was then charged ON April 14, 2017 $136.66 and ON April 15, 2017 $122.99

and ON May 14, 2017 $140.80

and ON May 15, 2017 $125.95

and ON June 13, 2017 $136.54.

The money is taken out of my VISA under the names Belleskin Oldham

or agelesskincream.com. I called 647-361-4622 on June 15, 2017 and screamed at the scammer, who hung up on me. I called back and did not yell, and the second scammer promised me "his employee discount' for the month of June which would = $100 in u.s. funds. (The refund is supposed to appear on my credit card. I have not seen/received that...) He said that I could not return the items, because I had signed to have them shipped monthly, and that I was to stop the process within 15 days of original purchase to have prevented the repeat charges and repeate shipments. (As I read the ad originally, I saw neither of the stipulations that he mentioned.) He went on to say that he did. at least, cancel future shipments. Once I get the 100$ refund that he promised, I will cancel my credit card, and report this to my credit card. I have also e mailed one of the many e mails that supposedly represent this evil company- I do not remember which one. I am a trusting person. I have never been scammed before. I cannot afford the $600 that they have stolen from me. It is a nightmare. If I tell my husband, he will be sooo mad at me for being stupid and foolish and for not paying attention and for throwing my money away.

  • Jun 1, 2017

I ordered what I thought was a free sample of eye cream to get rid of bags and the only bags that were removed was bags of money. A monthly fee was taken from my credit card without my consent. I consented to the shipping fee only.

After sending back additional deliveries from the company and contacting my credit card company and disputing the claim, my credit card allowed it to be charged the next month against my direct instructions. I have cancelled my credit card and have lost hundreds of dollars when agreeing to less than $20. This is a scam. Don't purchase this. You will be billed over $100 every month for your "trial". I wish that I had found information on this before agreeing. I'll know better and stay away from ordering on Facebook in the future.

Scammed in Canada

  • May 22, 2017

I bought a trial sample of Hydroluxe Ultimate Moisturizer for $6 and unwittingly subscribed to receive the moisturizer at a price of $99 US and another product at a price of $89 US monthly. It wasn't until I received the second delivery of these (utterly awful) products that I became aware that by accepting the "trial", I had signed up for a subscription. This is so clearly a scam and although my credit card company (BMO Mastercard) was sympathetic they won't do anything to help me recover the $600 I have been charged by these frauds. This company, I've learned, simply sets up a web address, scams until they can't anymore and resurfaces under a new name. Don't buy skincare online. I feel like I've been had by a "Nigerian Princess". I'm embarrassed. Don't be me.

Facial cream deceptive marketing is still running strong in Canada and this time, they nabbed my elderly mother.

First you should know that this type of borderline fraudulent scheme is not illegal, they're a legitimate business pushing very expensive creme, although as you'll soon find out, they're willing to sell it dirt cheap when you back them into a corner. These are the internet's bottom feeders.

It was my dear old mother's lucky day, I happened to be at her place when her glorious box of Hydroluxe cream arrived. She said it was a free trial and that all she had to pay was the shipping. I knew straight away what it was, a trial is not a product, it's a signup and consent to charge your credit card a monthly fee in exchange for a supply of cream, I just didn't know what the damage would be and at $99.95 per month, it's a whopper.

Turn's out she got nabbed by reading a fake news story tying in Dragon's Den contestants to the product with a link to customer testimonials at the end. For American's reading this, Dragon's Den is the Canadian version of Shark Tank. Here is an example of such a news story still running as of writing this:

rockstarseo.ca/people-magazine-news-dragon-dens-biggest-deal/

The package she received had no company name, logo or any idenfiable markings, Even the the Canada Post sticker was nameless, all it had was an address in the From field which is likely their shipping facility (P.O. Box 500, North York, Ontario M3J 0J8). They do this to presumably discourage you from contacting them, they want you to forget about them until your credit card gets hit with the next month supply of $100 cream.

The bottle did have the Hydroluxe name on it and after finding their website and terms of service, all was revealed:

hydroluxebeauty.com/terms/

I called them (1-(647) 361-4622), spoke to a rep demanding a termination and RMA number to return the bottle and after he offered to cancel the deal if my mom paid for the bottle she recieved at a discount of $69.95 then $49.95 then $19.95, I asked him if he could hold the line while I conference in Master Card Fraud Prevention. That was the silver bullet, he instantly gave me a 17 digit RMA number, which I asked him to repeat 3 times, and the following return shipping address:

P.O Box 7750

599 Shepard Avenue

West Downsview ON

M3H 2W0

What's the moral of this story? If you have elderly parents who surf the web, educate them about the nasty world we live in.

Re: Hydroluxe- wrinkle and skin creams as offered on Facebook and the internet- its a Scam!! They charge you additional fee for your trial product , you do not authorized this but they do it anyways. The custome rep- who does nto have any service capcity whatsoever- tells you that it is in the terms and agreemtn on line- however- you can never find it. Also- the amounts $140.68 and $126.69 are Not ever disclosed on line and they site "privacy" issues. This kind of billing for extension of a monthly charge on a trial option is ILLEGAL in Canada. The cable companies use to do this and continueto charge people after a trial period withou permission. I did not give permission to have addiotnal charges- it says- TRIAL- which means a try it and see basis not a monthly or life time commmittment and charges to ensue. This company engages in Fraudulent, illegal and unethical business practices as well as horrible customer service. Its illegal to bill an undisclosed amount. I ordered a trial version of 1ml and .5 ml of 2 products- did not authorize any addiotnal charges adn would not have done so if I knew the amount of a "monthly fee" its expesnve and NOT worth it. It is a crappy and lousy product. As well, I was charged over 30 days after i first paid for shipping only. I have canceeld but I have no faith in their ability to honour the cancellation. i have notified the credit card company and as I said.... this is fraudlent and illegal practices in Canada.

Hydroluxe beauty scam!!!

I also saw the offer on Facebook and thought because they were on Dragon's Den, the company was legit. It is not. I purposely didn't open my products when they arrived in the event I needed to send them back because they charged me for something I didn't authorize. That is exactly what they did. Charged and additional $260 on my credit card for these products that I hadn't even open. When I contacted the company to demand a refund, they said they wouldn't refund my money because I agreed to the 14 day free trial and there was nothing they could do. They were kind enough to "cancel my subscription". How kind of them to charge me almost $300 for trial size products that are likely full of crap and don't work.

To make things worse, credit card companies are aware of these scams and choose not to do anything about it. They say they are not allowed to dispute the charges because of the trial offer. Complete b******* that companies are allowed to continue to conduct their business this way. Unacceptable!!

  • May 5, 2017

Pop up on facebook, offered skin cream samples and only asked for postage payment for shipment and delivery. Ordered a second product for 40 dollars as well as shipping and handling.Received product which seem to be okay however was charged 137.00 on my credit card 15 days later. There was nothing indicating a trial basis, ongoing charges, membership to a club, nothing else, just to receive a sample.Contacted TD Bank and was transferred to resolution agent who advised they are familiar with this however they wouldn't put through a complaint because Hydrolux and it's affiliate company, sparklingskintoday.com, would only say there was an acceptance button or checkbox to opt in or out of the additional charges. Big Fail on behalf of TD Bank. You are not protected as you would think by the Banks, even though they admit they know people are being taken, they don't seem to care and would not give us the opportunity to speak with a supervisor. I contacted the company and they advise there was a button ( but there wasn't) and wouldn't even give me an address for a parent company, a CEO's name or physical location of a head office. So I'm stuck with the charges and have cancelled my credit card. No more purchases from facebook pop ups, folks. Cheers.

This company is a scam in every way possible. Do not order any products from them, you will regret it!!!! I could explain all the problems but dont want to waste any more time, just want to give fair warning to other consumers.

  • Apr 27, 2017

Ordered a sample online which was posted on Facebook. Sample arrived. Within days full price was charged to my Visa card for full products. Scam. Requested full refund and had to get a refund of merchandise number ... then had to call in with a tracking number to return the product.

I am mad, this wrinkle cream turned my skin red and it burned it. not good. to top this off they kept charging my visa. I

did not authorise this. I don't know how they have the authority to do this. These people have to be stopped. Can You do

something and get my money back? Please Help.

  • Apr 10, 2017

*Was on Facebook when I saw this "deal" for 2 products, cost was shipping charges only! Then I got my Visa statement and there was another charge for $95.78 for a cream I didn't order. I called them to have this cancelled but the said that the couldn't and that if I kept the serums, another charge for $19.95USD would be applied. Big scam. No ability to send back cream or cancel order.*

  • Apr 6, 2017

This company pretends to be based in Canada, but they aren't. They have Canadian flags everywhere and present as Canadian. They offer free samples for only shipping. Once you get their samples, they try to charge you for them. Secondly, the only receipt I have shows that I only signed up for a free sample and had to pay shipping only.

However, they then claim that I have purchased cosmetics which I did not purchase. You are then expected to return them. Third, the product bill was in US dollars, not Canadian to exacerbate the problem.

I'm looking to do a class action lawsuit against them because of their fraudulent misrepresentation as a Canadian company, their misleading ads, inaccurate billing, and lies. Stay away from them.

This is a disgusting, lousy company. Their receipts came in from three different emails so it's very suspicious. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS and theircreams are crap.

  • Mar 30, 2017

Saw a link regarding beauty cream that had supposedly been on dragons den, linked me to an article on Cosmopolitan. Then to sample page. All you pay is shipping they said. I proceeded through looking for the "catch". Couldnt find it. Product recieved..... less than two weeks later credit card billed for 143.71...... phoned them they said thats just for one product. You will be billed for 149.00 for the other. After trying to reason with them i for too angry and has to hang up. Billing comes from strange plces like deepskinin and fullerglow and maylifecs and bglowhelpd. I was offered a 50% refund if i returned products. When i got angry. He said theybwould give a 30 %discount and i could keep products. Shortly after i hung up phone.

  • Mar 29, 2017

Clicked on the ad which came through one of the Canadian news sites that automatically appears on my iPhone. I was interested because the ad claimed the developers had been on Dragon's Den but didn't end up with a deal, and then went on to be extremely successful. I had purchased a great product here in BC at a women's trade fair from a lady who had been on Dragon's Den so I was interested to try the hydroluxe cream as well.

The site didn't accept my credit card, and then an hour or so later I got a call from the company so I placed my order. A few hours after that I was feeling uneasy about my purchase, so I looked online to try to find out more and saw a few complaints. Their own website was "Coming Soon". I emailed the company to cancel my order, but it had been shipped already. I asked some more questions through their online "contact us", mainly to give me the season and episode number of the Dragons Den program they were on.There were about 5 more emails sent by them after I kept asking the same questions, and the programmed answers were sent using 5 different employee names of hydroluxe employees. They would not tell me which Dragons Den they were on, I even called the next day and still no one would talk to me about Dragons Den.

One of the emails reply said that because I didn't cancel within 24 hours I can't cancel my order. I told them I cancelled on the same day as my order but I kept getting the same programmed response. I checked my credit card statement and the shipping charges were on there already. I cancelled my credit card at that point and am getting a new one.

When the product comes (they had said they were sending full size products rather than samples) I don't plan on using it because it's probably crap- I don't trust these scammers at all- and I don't plan on spending the cash to return it. I'll let you know how things turn out.

  • Mar 27, 2017

This ad showed up on Facebook and because I live in the province where's these two young ladies supposedly developed this product and it was on Dragons Den I thought it would be OK To order. After all it was supported by Dragon's Den! I placed my order for the two samples and refused all of the other offers. The website said that I could order two samples if I paid a second shipping fee so I did. I get an email notice that the samples were shipped and I would be receiving them on March 23, 2017. They did not arrive until the 24th and when I opened the bos there was only 1 sample. There was an instruction sheet enclosed with a customer service contact number which I phoned to ask why they charged me for two shipments and I only received one. I was advised that a full size product shipment was on its way and that my VISA was charged the full amount. I did not authorize this shipment and when I said that to the service person she advised me that I had agreed to their terms and conditions which stated that I agree to monthly shipments. That was not what I had read. I read the terms and conditions and understood them to be that if I liked the product I would then order the full size product with the option to cancel at any time. Her attitude was very condescending and it wasn't until I accused the company of misrepresentation and fraud that she advised that she could help me resolve this problem.

To resolve the problem I would have to accept delivery of the product and then send it back to them using return memo numbers. She would immediately credit my account $50.00 now and the balance when I advised them that the package was on its way back to them. I advised her that I would be contacting my bank to cancel the transaction authorization and she replied that all the banks were aware of them and implied that they were fully approved by the banks. I contacted my bank and reported them as frauds and when I explained that I had spoken to the company and they would not refund me until I accepted the shipment and returned it, my bank advised me not to accept anything and that they would not approve the amount and would make sure that it would be refunded to my account. I feel really ripped off because no where did it state that the product was in US dollars!! This as well was fraud because it was shipped out of North York, Ontario, Canada and was to be returned to Downsview, Ontario, Canada and I was charged inUS dollars, not Canadian dollars! What a rip off!
