Ordered a bed from Humble Abode without doing my homework ( they have a F rating with the Better Business Bureau and also Google there reviews) my mistake there but anyway was to arrive to my Florida vacation home & got email saying was shipped on 2/25/16 with tracking from Pilot freight who they use,.check on 2/29/16 & is says on Pilot freight tracking website that shipment damaged in transit so I called Pilot freight themselves & spoke to two people twice who double checked with here manager who confirmed bed was damaged!! Asked would you like to send back of course why would I want it? In meantime I'm in contact with very nice woman at Humble abode who will look into it & calls me back & tells me she talked to her contact at Pilot & it's just the box crushed a little just accept it& it will be fine. When I explain to her I personally called myself twice with manager confirming bed damage her whole attitude changed!! Told me YOU have to accept that bed& if I didn't she would report me to collection company & charge me shipping & restocking fees!! I informed her I was do a charge back with my credit card & she got even more upset.I informed her why would I accept a bed that I have proof that it was damaged at port when Pilot freight picked up bed also called Pilot twice & second time confirming with her manager that bed was damaged .called next day again trying to get me accept bed saying I was responsible for it& explained to them that they & Pilot have been in control of shipment including when damage was done. I never took control never mind signed for shipment not to mention ever came to my home!!!. These people are con artist they do this for a living please google humble abode reviews & you will see same ruthless routine, threatening collection agencies, high price return policy Ect. Ect. I know this is long but please take my warning & stay clear.

I ordered a bed on 9/8 and received an email directly after apologizing that it would not be shipped until around 9/22...well when I didn't hear anything on 9/22 I emailed and received a generic response of it being an estimated date and etc. I called on the 23rd to talk to a very nice gentleman who researched the order and called me back the next day. He stated the bed itself which online is still saying is in Stock is actually on backorder till the end of November. He gave me options and I told him I would call back the following day. Meanwhile, I received another email from Humble Abode stating the order will be shipped soon without any detail on when or what was really going on but a blanket statement

The initial Expected Ship Date was based on typical turn-around time for this item. We apologize that our initial forecast on your Expected Ship Date was not accurate. Our goal is to relay open, honest, and accurate status of your order.

I treid to reply back to that email and it was sent back to me as undelivered and when I called to cancel my order today. The guy cut me off, asked if I was just cancelling and when I said yes, he hung up on me.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! Oh and I went to leave a review on the website yesterday and it STILL is not viewable so they filter their reviews to only the positive.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
