Humana has failed to provide benefits required by Medicare. I have filed and won grievances against them. Their paid abritators have ruled in my favor and they supposedly sent supplies and they were supposed to be received in 15 days. It is now 21 days and I have spent an hour listening and being transferred from person to person while having to listen to how wonderful Humana is. Intolerable!!! Ends up they claim I am in a queue and maybe will receive my supplies within a month. So far I have been fighting with them for 6 months and spent over $300 out of pocket expenses for test strips,meter,lancets,etc.
I had to have two cranial surgeries to relieve bleeding caused by a script. No one takes Humana in a city of 2.5 million as they refuse to pay. It was an ER visit and it has not been paid either. Avoid this company like the plague. Just about all specialist refuse this below par insurance company.
