I have spoken to Ryan and Patrick the two people at Hughdomains that told us not only would they not sell us the domain back that they aquired 45 days ago for double what they paid, but they could not provide any reason for the value or measure to what the site is worth.

Patrick also lied about the way in which they aquired the information, determining the value. He said that the Marketing and Branding value is what it is priced at. They told us that they would offer us half off the retail price of 1300.00 dollars. This is 13 times what they paid for it 45 days ago and 14 times what 7 independent web domain analysis sites valued the site as aswell.

Simply put these guys are crooks and liars. Patrick and Ryan have to live with the facts that they are offering a service that is a complete ripoff.

I am writing today to file a formal complaint against HugeDomains, NameBright, DropCatch, and TurnCommerce. All companies owned by the same individual, Andrew Reberry. I purchased the domain www.onlygoodthings.com in March 2017 with a payment plan from HugeDomains.com and was not given full access to the domain until the payment plan final payment in November 2017, I paid $1793 for this domain in total. The domain was then pushed through to me on NameBright.com and it was too be good for one year from that date for its registration in November (time of full ownership), at which time then the registration would need to be renewed or I would be able to transfer it out of NameBright and to my normal web host. I was in the stages of starting my company and left the website to sit ‘parked’ while a design team I hired for $349 a month was building a website for me.

Fast forward to 4 months later, I attempted to sign into my domain and was locked out. I contacted NameBright support who, after several emails later; tells me the domain expired and was released to the public and subsequently sold – right out from under my feet. During the immediate period before it was stolen from me and sold, I had filed a trademark on the name which was placed in the gazette with the USPTO for pending approval. I have reason to believe Namebright/Hugedomains maliciously stole my domain from me prior to its true expiration period of what should have been November 2018 and resold it at a premium to another company, who now has it listed for $20,000. I contact this other company and they told me they would sell it back to me for the price I paid to Hugedomains, which I feel is robbery after already paying one company and this happening. I don’t have the money to re-buy my own domain name after I barely owned it for 3 months after paying it off when Namebright stole it and resold it for profit.

The internet is littered with accounts of this happening to many people, and there needs to be a class action lawsuit brought upon Hugedomains/namebright/andrew reberry on this deceptive practice. Too many innocent and hard working people who are trying to build a company of their own are being taken advantage of online and no one is paying the price for it. I have spent months researching what occurred here, and would like to ask your help in filing a report against this company. This needs to be of record. I attempted to contact my bank for a chargeback, but it was too late to do so. So, I am out $1793 from the cost of the domain, plus over $2000 for design fees, and the money from my trademark filing- which is now active. This could be seen as a case of cybersquatting or other internet violations around my brand.

Please help me to regain my domain or my money lost to this company.

Thank you

An absolute scam and horrible company

This company is absolutely horrible. Similar to others, they scooped up a domain name I was interested in for $9 and are attempting to sell it to me for $2600. I tried negotiating but they are unwilling to. I have contacted several lawyers to help with this - but anyone else who's been impacted and wants to band together to pool our resources I would love to talk more. Let me know!

This company deceptively and fraudulently obtained our company domain , then actually tried to sell it back to us. The price for our company name (mesainteractive.com) is now listed for $1,995. I refuse to pay this amount and will be filing both criminal and civil charges against this company (hugedomains.com) if my property is not release within 60 days of this report.

Hugedomains.com makes their money on VICTIMS of their fraud. They snipe away other peoples' property without notice, clearly in violation of multiple laws protecting consumers and domain holders .

Others have given in, and paid this company their ransom. This does not help all of the consumers which will come after you ; also being victimized by this company. I will be suing them personally, but perhaps a class action lawsuit against this company is the way to go, since there are SO MANY victims, clearly this company is STEALING from us.

It provides NO service , other than the theft of your intellectual property ; then they sell it back to you for thousands . This is BLACKMAIL , and I will not stand for it.

Get ready for the lawsuit boys!

I had a domain for 14 years; I had switched my hosting package to iPage.com. My domain was getting close to expiration and I had submitted my CC info through the billing on the iPage website, it looked like it had gone through, but didn't. I have a very busy schedule, I checked my email one day and saw that my domain had expired (when I thought the payment had gone through), the domain was now in redemption. I stayed in contact with iPage about the domain, and even had the payment I thought I made applied to another domain I owned.

I was told the domain would be out of redemption on August 19, and at that point I could buy it again, or I could pay 180 dollars to get it out of redemption. I didn't have 180$, so I waited. I was also informed that it would be safe that noone else could buy it while in redemption and that I was the only one that could pay for it to be out of redemption.

On August 19th, I signed in to iPage to re-buy my domain and it was sold to HugeDomains.com on August 17th, while it was still in redemption.

I have since contacted HugeDomains several times to try and get it back, even offered up other domain names, they absolutely will not give it back to me, and at first wanted to charge 2950.00$ for it, since then they have lowered the cost to 1495.00$ I don't think how this transpired is legal by any means, even through iCANN, but iPage told me that because of iCANN, bidders can bid on domains while in redemption period.

iPage lied to me about the domain being safe while in redemption additionally their on line payment system was faulty and still is, resulting in the late payment in the first place. The other domains I have through iPage were in jeapordy of being lost just recently, because of the faulty payment system, I had to call them to push the payment through, after which I canceled any services with them.

Complete BAIT and SWITCH tactics from HugeDomains.com.

Complete BAIT and SWITCH tactics from HugeDomains.com.

This company sells website domain names - less than 24 hours ago i went to purchase a website name from them, and with the current world crisis going on I wanted to sleep on it. The price for this name was $295, and had financing options available to spread out the payments.

I went back online in the morning to purchase the name and found the price is now $3,395. I called their phone customer service, and emailed them and they claimed they did an audit and will not and do not want to honor the price that was offered less than 24 hours ago. Wow, like really? This is unacceptable and BAD FAITH, and NOT FAIR!

You would think any company would own up a mistake and take care of their customers. Nope, not HugeDomains.com, they make lies and excuses about their pricing and try to trick you to pay more.

How does this make me feel as a customer? Completely lied to, bamboozled, and cheated.

I don't ever want to see them or hear their name again. They get an F in my book.

Hugedomains

Very very very bad people and their services.

  • Jul 29, 2018

In the past week this company has managed to take the domain names of two of my companies, both have trademarked domain names. They've purely taken them to hold me at ransom, knowing both are international trademarked and no one else can use them. Extremely dodgy practice.

Bama shoping.com is registered with the State of Alabama and registered with an online company.

I would advise that bama shoping.com be taken down by Huge Domains, com. This will be in the hands of my Attorney Monday Morning, Huge Domains Are a Bunch of Thieves. They stole my domain name--bama shoping.con

In 11/15/2017 i was looking for a domain (######.com), and i find that HugeDomains.com own this domain and for $2,195.00,

(For security seasons the domain will not be puplic)

so i decide to make for 24 Monthly Payments, so that mean $91.45 per month,

i pay the first payment of $91.45 and after 3 days they send me the login info to access my account on namebright.com, until now all ok, and then at 15/12/2017 i pay again $91.45 and then at 01/15/2018 i pay also $91.45 so that mean i payed ($274.35) and then at 02/15/2018 i decide to pay off the remaining amout of $1,920.65, my PayPal, and then i go to paypal and add my cc to my account, and i press pay!, the payment has been made!, and then i contact them to unlock my domain they send me email and say once the payment is clear we will unlock the domain, i waiting more than 4 days, and then i asked about my domain, hahaha nobody hear me!!!!, i call them, and when they answer me, and i say i am calling about my domain and say the domain, he just say ok please wait until i check that domain, and then he close the call, he did that more than 4 times, i contacted NameBright.com and they say you have to contact HugeDomians.com, i reply and say nobody answer me! and they just copy and past the same you have to contact HugeDomains.com!!

And in the end the $2,195.00 just payed for nothing!!

i will contact ICANN

(i know someone work there and she already told me what i have to do!!)

I am from Lebanon, But i live in Austria so i am gonna make a report by the police here in Austria, and requst that the report be send to the US Police, and i have to contact PayPal and say the story because i used paypal for my payments,

and i will contact CloudFlare.com because they are the hostinger/website provider of HugeDomains.com

So what i want to say is!!!

NEVER NEVER MAKE DEALS WITH HUGEDOMAINS.com

Hugedomains.com is a company that is based in unethical and illegal practices.

They are rip off and steal other companies and people's names to hold domain so they can sell them back. They check who is registering companies if those people has not did Trademark and got the domain name yet, Hugedomains takes those registered companies name under their domains and then puts them on sale for higher rates.

They should be banned completely and Govt should stop those kind of crook companies to steal and rip off people and businesses.

Its same like they kidnap your kid and then ask for ransom to return back...is it fair practice and why Govt allow these companies to exist..?

Due to a payment lapse with renewal with godaddytheyscooped up multiple domain names related to my personal identity.

  • Dec 22, 2016

When my domain name expired-I was ill and missed renewing it. This company bought the name which is my personal brand aka my personal name and is not releasing it till I show them a copy of my government issued id so that they can continue the theft of my identity.

This is my domain-they are charging over $3k for it when it costs $9.99 and they will not release it unless I show them documentation showing my identity lol

This is a joke

I know a celebrity sued on this and even though I am no celebrity-I do have goals and visions

Our domain name inadvertently expired in August 2016 and we were not able to catch it in the redemption period. I placed a backorder for it through NameJet.com per the recommendation of the domain registrar.

I received a notice from NameJet to increase my bid for the domain name from $69 to $79 even though there were no other apparent bidders for the name. It's a locally based company and not likely that anyone would be interested in it. Except someone trying to pick it up for a profit.

Huge domains picked it up when it dropped and now they're trying to sell it for $1795.00 US. This seems like extortion to me. Others have had the same experience. Huge domains offered to sell it to us for a reduced price of $1095 if we could show that we were the most recent owners of the domain (which we are). Still a ridiculous amount of money for a domain name.

Huge Domains took my website name after GoDaddy neglected to tell me it expired. When I called GoDaddy, they shrugged and said I should have check my SPAM. What??? When I did, nothing was there anyway. 2) They said they called me. Nope. Nothing on my phone with their number (and I have their number in my contacts). 3) I went up the ranks to talk to someone and they dropped the "hint" that HugeDomains might have it.

And they did. For $895, I can have it back. Isn't this like blackmailing?

I believe the two companies are connected, because I let a name go on purpose and guess who owned it minutes later? Huge Domains. Now for a domain name that would have cost me $9 from GoDaddy is $9 to get back from HugeDomains.

Go Daddy seems to let me know about other websites I have (sorry, "had", because I won't work with them again. It's just wayyyy too suspicious). I feel they deliberately let my personal name website go, which leads me to think HugeDomains might be GoDaddy's side business.

I'm very upset and want my website name back now! I didn't let it expire. As far as I'm concerned, it was taken from me.

P.S. I think that guy is right: The more you keep checking to see if your domain name is available, I think the longer HugeDomains holds on to it.

It does appear this company may be part cybersquatter (even if its not thier entire buisiness) . They currently own and are selling kojimaproductions.com for $4,650, which is related to www.kojimaproductions.jp (A well known and established game developer and development company/trademark). How is this not in bad faith?

Was about to register my srspro.com domain name for $9 with another provider. but decided to sea this for it on google to double check avialability and within few seconds hugedomains got the domain and tried selling it to me for $4,000!! apparently they have some kind of monitoring when someone searches Google for a domain name and it's not registered. huge domain all of a sudden buy it and try to sell it for few thousand dollars. now I have to come up with different business name. was running my bake as under "Srs pro" for long time. and now can't use same name for website because of huge domains.com I talked to google, they will be working on preventing such activity in the future.
