On December 8 2018 I ordered 2 HRB 11.1v 5000mah Lipo batteries. Upon recieving them they worked fine. When I went to charge them they both got hot and would not take a charge. I contacted HRB customer service. They said I had to return the items for a replacement the didnt even offer a refund.
Well UPS and USPS will not let an individual ship Lipo batteries through the mail without special permits that cost a lot of money. So I explained this to HRB and they did not care they still refused a refund or replacement. So I tried to slow charge one of the batteries again, this time it got hot enough it exploded, by now its Janusry 5th.
I tried contacting HRB again and they ignored me. So I contacted Amazon customer service on January 18th 2019 and told them the seller was not attempting to make things right. The amazon rep told me to upload a picture of whats left of the battery then they would refund me, I sent the picture and called back and I got connected to an ignorant rep that told me that the picture didnt look like the battery I was sent, I said of course not it went though a lipo fire there is no shiny label still on it showing the brand.
So then instead of refunding me like the previous rep told me I was put on hold for 20 minutes or longer then when Jasmine came back on the phone she advised me that this case had to be referred to their investigation department and it would take 3-5 days to hear somthing from them.
Do not buy HRB brand lipo batteries from Amazon or any other marketplace out there because they will not stand behind their product. So now I have had these batteries over a month that cost me $75.00 just laying around and I had to end up going and buying another set of batteries that cost me $100.
