The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda is a DIRTY-CROOK, refusing to refund my security deposit after more than 62 days when the refund policy is within 21 days. It told different stories every time I called. On 7/18 it said the check would be sent. On 7/29 it said $749.20 would be sent right away for the end of the week receipt. On 8/8, for the first time, it said it was unable to open my account to issue the check because the check was cut and sent on 6/23. I moved out on 6/12/2019.
