They approached us on Facebook and told us they had 130 KG of Gold Nuggets and Bars available in Nairobi Kenya. They invited us and told us that we would not have to pay anything upfront. After we decided to accept their offer we went to Nairobi Kenya and met with them. Gold was actually really there but things escalated when we found out that the Customs Officer in their office was listed on various gold scam sites.
We wanted to cancel the transaction but they started to intimidate us telling us they already invested over US$ 150.000 to prepare for this transaction. Finally we had a local taxi driver who came to the rescue and called his brother in law wh0 is working for the local police in Nairobi and made sure we were safe during the rest of our trip. The only money we lost was travel expenses.
