Looking to lower my payments, some how we crossed paths, they talked a good game, came to my house and i signed and they took my money. months go by i try to get answers i get excuses and story's and have to come up with more paperwork and money. this happened a few times. then i get on them and they want more money. i should have figured it out by then but didn't i wanted my modification, all while working with hope4home my payments aren't being made cause they took the money. a couple years later and a crap load of story's and ecxcuses , no return calls, no money, NO loan modification, the bank wants my house. total scam this place is , you see their name run away. DO contact the DA in your area. they are working on them.
All I can say is while I was going through a hardship and need assistance with my mortgage... Hope for Home advised me that they would work with my lender to bring my loan current and all they needed was three payments in reserve to start working with my lender. They stated that since they were govermant funded they would put the reserve up for me and all I had to do is agree to let them auto deduct 3 payments from my checking account. Also, advised me not to make the payment I owed for July just to have August September and Novermbers payment there to auto deduct. After November I started calling for the status and got no return call. I called my mortgage company and they knew nothing about working with Hope for Home to bring me current. I was never able to get through to them to get my money back. I am still trying and it has been since November of last year. They prey on people in financial bind and hit them taking their money and causing the forclosure proceedures on their property.
Said they could help reduce our interest rate, told us to pay them and not the bank, to only deal with them not the bank, it put us way behind and they took thousandsof dollars, now the bank is pissed and we are out money and way behind on our payments and can't get intouch with anyone about what they are doing. looks like they lied and took our money and we may lose our home.
I completed an application cause I was advisesd if I qualified they would be able to have my lender bring my loan current even though I was in bank rupsey. After the application was reviewed and accepted it was passed from a women to a guy who called himself Montey in Personel. This is all over about 6 month period of time keep in mind. Money waited a few weeks called me and advised that they had spoke to my mortgage company and they had agreed to bring my loan current but i had to have three months worth of payments in reserve. At which time I explained to montey that I did not have. He advised that since they were a non profit organization that Hope for Home would put the money in reserve for me so that they could go ahead and start working on helping me through the goverment I might add. He advised that all I had to do was set up three months of automatic draft payments back to Hope For Home and after the three months they would advise my trustee of the loan being brought current and that I would no longer have that amount in my chapter 13 bank rupsey payment. Well after three months I started calling HFH and go recorder every time. Usually Montey would always call me back within a days time. After 4 days of leaving messages I called my mortgage company to see if they had been working with Hope For Home and they stated that they had not even heard from them.
They NEVER EVER NEVER EVEN CALLED MY MORTGAGE COMPANY. THEY ARE SCAMS AND GOT ME FOR 2400.00. Since the money was automatically deducted from my account I can not recover it. I received no service from Hope For Home and then found out it was nothing but a scam. I WILL NOT QUIT UNTIL I KNOW THIS CAN NO LONGER BE DONE TO ANYBODY ELSE!!! iTS A SCAM AND HOW DO PEOPLE LIKE THIS SLEEP AT NIGHT? SOME OF THE People scammed lost their homes.
There has to be a stopping point to this low down discusting criminal. How can he keep operating this way? He has no federal ID and should not have a brokers license.
