I suggest you look at Hooley's website stephenhooley.com for a great laugh. He has a Napoleon complex, and this little nerd is chalk full of bluster backed by hyperbole and unsupported claims of fame and fortune. I can assure you any fortune he has comes at the expense of unsophisticated people dolling out hard earned money. He operated as an unlicensed Forex trader (see below) which he paid a huge fine.
He bounces all around changes company names. A classic red flag for anyone vetting a company or individual. It appears from his website he sells mentoring--God help us. He has less charism than Mitch McConnell. One of his associates indicated he was considering a sex change to which I responded “you mean to a man”.
His website claims multi-millionaire, inventor, savant, entrepreneur extraordinaire with zero evidence (who claims to be a savant?). Anyone with any understanding of vetting or legitimate credentials can tell you this is all smoke and mirrors and he is just waiting for the next ignorant person to give him money. Seriously check out the website for a laugh. Little guy looks lost.
Hooley claims to come from a difficult childhood I assume because of his diminished stature. Unfortunately if true that he had overcompensated by ripping people off and be an arrogant ***.
He does have some notoriety however with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission:
CFTC Enforcement Director Comments
James McDonald, the CFTC’s Director of the Division of Enforcement, stated: “We have seen an increase in the number of unregistered entities and individuals illegally pedaling apps, websites, and social media to retail customers for trading in forex and binary options. Many of these entities and individuals specifically target Millennials, who may be less experienced investors.”
The following companies and individuals were sued by the CFTC in Orders issued today:
Hooley Solutions LLC, a Utah LLC and its founder and owner Steven Bradley Hooley;
Respondents shall pay, jointly and severally, a civil monetary penalty in the amount of seventy five thousand dollars ($75,000), plus post-judgment interest, within ten (10) days of the date of the entry of this Order.
Hooley has to use a step stool to take a pee and is socially inept. He peddles mentoring programs (go on the website and watch) where he talks about nothing important pretending to be some purveyor of ancient wisdom. It's comical! And he should stop buying his clothes at the bargain bin of Dollar Store. Try the children's section at Walmart at least.
