A woman name Kelly Walsh from hood and Thompson associate called my home looking for a family member claiming a garnishment in their name. Somehow had her last four numbers of her ssn. Threatened "legal matters". Told her he bill was like $2200 but brought it down to $900. Was told to make an immediate payment to avoid court. Thinking they were a real establishment paid the initial fee by debit card. Later that day found out they were a fraud.
Some things weren't adding up. The dates they gave talking about the loan that was taken. Also refused to mail the paperwork said email would be quicker, but by law they are supposed to send it if you request. The address they gave is a driving school. They have no actual business in charolette NC. Can't reverse lookup the number they gave. So called the bank to dispute the issue and get a new debit card. Trying to avoid anyone else getting screwed by these scammers!
Said that cash central sold this to them found out through cash central they did not. cash central advised us not to talk with them. They claimed didfferent dates and amounts Called me combative. I told them I was going to call the police.
