I was warned about this builder even before I had the misfortune of even moving in, saying he is a bully, ruthless and extremely litigious! Wow! They were completely accurate! Do not rent or purchase ANY property from this builder because his townhomes are not EVEN BUILT UP TO CODE! They are built below grade and have SEVERE PLUMBING and flooding FLOODING ISSUES. After you move in, you will be coerced into repairing any damages to the property no matter what! Upon moving out of the property in West Hollywood, California, I had a demand letter posted on my door demanding well over $100,00 in repairs to this property.
Mr. Monte Stettin demanded all brand new cabinets, all brand new countertops, all brand new flooring, all brand new doors, he wanted the entire house completely repainted, he wanted a new deck and he wanted to have his garage completely recoated all on MY DIME! He essentially wanted a BRAND NEW REMODEL ON MY MONEY! Unfortunately through a major loophole in his misleading contract, he extracted from me a WHOPPING $250,000 from me and seized my assets with the help of his attorney buddy.
I have lost my ENTIRE LIFES SAVINGS FROM THIS CORRUPT BUILDER, and now suffer with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome as a result of this horrendous ordeal. DO NOT DO NOT do any business with this con artist! He belongs in a federal prison! I have all the court documents to back up this posting!
