After being unduly pressured by salesman, Herb, to purchase their products, I waited 3 months to get the windows and doors. Immediately, I noticed that they had 2 different style doors butted next to one another. Then, a major section of glass cracked during the installation of the largest panel of door. I waited another couple months for the replacement panel. Yes, I was furious during the installation when I saw two different doors juxtaposed, poor quality and then glass cracking. When I texted Herb, I was very angry, but his attitude about my displeasure not to see what he could do to make it better (he promised exceptional customer service) was that it was "too bad, that's what you ordered." While I knew I was ordering from 2 different manufacturers, he told me it was because of the size of the doors. I should have asked them why not just go with the one company that made everything to fit, but I naively didn't. He didn't bother to explain the differences in the products either, and there are several.
After arguing with Herb, and walking out on him, I contacted another co-owner of the company, Dan. He agreed to "sell me" another door to match the main sliding door. at what's supposed to be "cost." Well, after 3 months of waiting, I told him to cancel the order. He told me that it was "in production" and that it couldn't be cancelled. Well, here is is 5 months later and I still have no door.
In addition, after waiting 2 months for the panel that cracked to be replaced, the company finally finished some of the service work so they could close out the permit. In the meantime, another couple glass window panels had their seals break and I am waiting for replacement windows. The company still hasn't finished "servicing" my windows and doors, as they left plugs out of the doors so now I'm going to get water coming in....yes, thank you, during hurricane season.
Stay away from this company. They are horrible to do business with. I heard from one of my condo board members that our HOA will not approve them to replace any further windows or doors in my HOA due to the number of complaints from residents. I hadn't even filed my complaint, but a board member gasped when he saw the shoddy construction.
