First, they acted like we had purchased an ad from them last year, which we had not (but I didn't look up until later). Then they talked me into purchasing without realizing I was purchasing (and didn't give me the price until after I had "agreed" to it. They sent an invoice, which I ignored, since I had discussed it with a coworker and we didn't want to go through with it.
They called to threaten me to pay the invoice and said I wasn't allowed to cancel. When I questioned them about their contract with the Chamber of Commerce they said it was signed by a director who left about 5 years ago. They couldn't tell me how many maps were being printed or who was going to distribute them since our Chamber is closing down.
They offered to take off $75, but still refused to cancel and refused to send me a proof of what they were planning on printing.
