Company is not honoring signed agreement to provide services paid for. Company is not responding to calls or emails to remedy situation.
Problems occurred starting in week 1. Agreement was for 3 exclusive, confirmed leads per week, specifically, on Tues, Wed and Thursday. I got one confirmed lead in week one. In the following weeks, I received the following amount of leads: 1,1,1,2,1,1,2,1,1,2,1,0,1. At no point did I receive the agreed upon amount of leads per week (3). Also, I signed up for 10 zip codes for exclusive leads until making my 30 sales. In 14 weeks, I’ve received leads from 4 of those zip codes, each for 3 weeks (hmmmm).
So, this company is only giving leads to me from one zip code per week and not using the other 9 zip codes assigned to my agency. There are 2 other agents and my district manager that signed up for the same programs and aren’t receiving the agreed upon leads but MORE IMPORTANTLY, are receiving leads from the SAME ZIP CODES…even though all are supposed to be exclusive.
As far as the blanket 100% return policy for no sales within 2-3 days, with immediate credit given: I’ve submitted 15 and received credit on just 10. It hasn’t been easy though: the first 2 submitted were credited after one attempt (3 and 4 days); the next 2 took 2 attempts (10 and 14 days); the next 2 took 4 attempts (almost 4 weeks).
At this point, I started emailing and calling for a refund for not getting what I paid for. That was over 6 weeks ago (5/16). Since then, I have received a total of 5 leads, two of which never answered the phone. At this point, I feel that no resolution can be made with Robin Evans, especially since he won’t return my phone calls or emails. Unfortunately, there was no rip off report listed when I researched the company and I bought in. This needs to get out.
Also, I have since found out from other agents that two years ago, “Robin Evans” was known as “Jeremy Leslie Ferguson” scamming agents with the same promises and product. This needs to get out there. Never buy leads from someone that won’t take credit cards. Any legitimate business can accept credit cards in like 5 minutes. The reason he takes checks only is because you cannot dispute them. Also, the signature on the back of the checks is someone named Harry A………
Robin Evans with Homeowners Data contacted me in regards to purchasing leads. I was very hesitant at first. I normally do not pay for leads expecually up front. After several conversations with Robin. I was guaranteed to write 27 policies in 90 days. I was informed that I would reseve 1 to 3 leads a day until the guaranteed number of policies were written. I did reseve leads for the company. These were outdated or reused leads from past. There is no other number to call other then to Robin himself. I had called several times to inquire why I was not getting the volume of leads that I was promised. I also wanted to go over why the leads were poor quality. Robin would never return my calls or emails. Finally I was able to get ahold of Robin. He immeditatly put me on hold once he knew who he was talking to. After speaking with Robin he gave me nothing, but excuses on how he never recieved my emails or calls in past. I was then directed to send another email to the IT department. I asked for a contact number and name. I informed Robin that I would not send out any other emails because I knew the responce I would get if I did. Robin refused to give me any information about the company or someone higher up to speak with.
The experience that I have had and the converstations that have taken place. One needs to beware of this person and company. This is 100% scam to take from hard working agents in the field. Believe nothing that is told to you. Run, find other means to get leads. Do not waste your money. I was made to sign a contact for this service. They had not follow through with anything on there side of the contract.
