Jack Cash is a slick salesman. He says that they get all these leads, and that they can give me 20 leads per month in my zipcode. No long term contract. I tried it for $1,000. I got a couple of leads here and there - some people looking for rentals (not what I do, not what was promised), some people looking in other counties (not what I do, not what was promised), some people giving bogus contact information (should be excluded from the 'qualified' lead count). A few possible folks, no one who ever responded by email or took my call so I can't say, but they can't be held repsonsible for that. All in all, not one single verifiable lead.
Month after month would go by with no leads. I had only received 2, then 5, then 11 all in over a 9 month period. Jack acknowledged that I hadn't received the leads that were promised, he agreed that out of area leads, rentals, and bogus contact info should not count. When we got to months 7-9, I started to say 'look, it didn't work out. just refund me the difference and we'll part friends.' He kept saying that 'he'd look into it,' until he finally went dark.
When I started yelling (by email), he had someone else in the company send me a spreadsheet of 20 leads that I had supposedly received - except they had never come. They weren't in my email, they weren't in my spam filter. They were completely made up leads that I had never received.
My fellow Realtors. This company promises a product they do not deliver.
The salesman states, the company will vet high dollar clients in affluent areas and hand them off to you and that client is awaiting your call. This is not the case. It appears they make a fake account with a client that seems to be looking in a high dollar area, upload that client to your CRM that is built and designed by Home Gather and then hand the lead off to you.
I received 2 leads which is what I signed up for, neihter ever answered the phone or replied back to text or email. The cost was 120.00 a month for my subscription. After filing a dispute with my credit card company, Home Gather of course sent their contract over and the bogus leads they sent me so I was out of 120.00
This is just a heads up for other Realtors who work hard for their money. Lesson learned!
