I was recently approched by this group at a Marlins game. They tell you the presentation will be no more than 2 hours and you receive a free gift after, which they have you choose while you are there. All you have to do is be over 27 and choose the free gift after they charge you 30 dollars which is to be refunded after the presentation.

When we attended the presentation, we were fist told it could be 90-120 mins and there is no pressure to buy. The presentation took 3 hours and we were approached by two managers after we said no thanks to try to sell us again. This would have all been fine if we received what was promised... At the end of the presentation we were indeed given our 30 dollars back and the "free gift".

In this case, a trip to Cancun. You have 30 days to activate the card and a year to pick the dates. The problem bagan once we read the terms and conditions which clearly say must be 30 years or older. This whole time they knew our age and even in the inital interaction we were advised we were old enough to qualify. They love showing you their partners to show their credibility but it seems they are like every other vactation rental place out there.

We were flat out lied to. Furthermore, after calling the number on the card given to us, we were told that they cannot do anything to help. We tried getting a number to call the HNG but this seems to not be readily available. Moreover, as soon as you hear more info on this "free gift" you are instantly advised of charges and fees that need to be paid.

Due to the non-acceptance of our request provided to Holidays Lounge's Advantage Service Conversion program for our Westgate Resort timeshare, we sent a notice of cancellation to Holidays Lounge on 2/21/18. The paperwork we received included confirmation from Holidays Lounge representatives that we were approved, but we received a verbal denial on February 21, 2018 (The representative called from 702-254-3100 at 3:47 pm PT.). We were advised by the Advantage Service Conversion program representative that they could list our week to see if anyone purchases that week and we may be able to receive $400. However, this was not a guarantee that it would be purchased or for the $400 amount quoted.

Why would we incur over $18,000 for Holidays Lounge's membership, their annual membership fees and continue to pay $1,034 to Westgate in maintenance fees? The reason we agreed to join the Holidays Lounge as members was due to the representatives advising we were approved and we would receive full reimbursement of our maintenance fees (even if the fees increased), minus a $50 processing fee.

We were looking forward to being long time members of your membership program. However, based on what was outlined in our agreement and based on the information we provided above, the agreement is not what we agreed upon.

We have asked that Holidays Lounge refund all monies received on our behalf fromt the credit grantors, totalling over $18,000.

Also, during the initial presentation process, we were told we could not be on our cell phones. Once I had the chance to look up customer reviews about Holidays Lounge, I saw why all of their tactis were used.

My family and I had no problem with the cost of the program, as long as promises were kept. I feel like the agreement is null and void at this point when all parties don't uphold their side of the agreements. We are willing to go to GREAT lengths to have this situation resolved.

Promises made but not kept!

Never again will we attend a presentation.

Highly pressured into buying their product. They will call their service something else other than 'timeshare' so that they can disassociate themselves with the bad reputation of timeshare companies. Not even allowed to use the smartphone to check online before it was purchased. Pressured into buying saying that it's a one time deal and only valid only today and that we couldn't go home and think about it. They only allowed to use one of their PCs for less than a minute while being continuously interrupted by the salesperson. They promise savings on hotels. They will give examples of them going on holidays with their family using this product and so on. These are not good offers. You can google and get better savings than what they offer. There will be higher savings only if you are going to one of their resorts. This was NOT clear at the time of signing up. Do not fall for it like we did. It's SO stressful. It WILL ruin your holiday and a lot of days afterwards. I wish I could go back and not have signed up for this scam! I wish I had thought clearly and identified this was a scam earlier.

SCAM!!! RUN!!!!!

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!! Do not buy any of their services!!!!

Why would you pay thousands of dollars to join a vacation club?!! Makes no sense! They dont even tell you the name of their company when you arrive, and they take a copy of your license...for what?!!!!!

Like every commenter here, they approach you in a public area like the AAA arena, Bayside or Marlins game. They either offer you a “free vacation” or you “won a raffle for a free trip” to rope you in. They then tell you to give a $40 refundable deposit and all you have to do is attend a 2 hour vacation presentation at another site. After you can claim a FREE vacation prize of your choice plus your refundable deposit. When you arrive all you get is AGGRESSIVE selling of their FAKE vacations. Aggressive is an understatement, the sales reps, yes plural, try to BULLY you into buying their fake vacation packages and get mad at you when you refuse. Oh and they dont tell you the prices of joining their club til after 3 hours wasted. They start off with amazing 5 star hotel prices.... $459 for 7 nights 8 days to place of your choice, like Hawaii for example. And they pull an Expedia or Priceline website to compare. So you will pay only $459 for 5 star hotel in Hawaii for 7 nights with them, but with the others $6000. Im laughing as I type this. And these are hotel stays only-no flights included.

This carries on for 3 hours with them showing pictures of themselves on vacation in places like Thailand, Jamaica or Peru. Then they hit you with the “buy in” prices, in order to join their exclusive club the tiers are as follows.... $24k for their basic package, $34k for middle package and $49k for their platinum package. I am still laughing as I type this. Mind you, after paying these RIDICULOUS prices to join their club, these stays are NOT unlimited. Thats right, you only get that $459 price ONCE a year. And they will include little trips here and there called “weekend getaways” up to 6 times a year. And theres an annual membership fee of $249. So lets get this straight, you must pay thousands just to be part of the club plus an annual fee to take LIMITED trips. FRAUDS!!!!!!!!!

Please don’t fall for this. I did not purchase anything cause the whole thing made no sense, why would I pay for discounts when I can find deeply discounted prices myself online. Oh and the “free trip” they promised at the end isn’t free. There’s a $50 processing fee and $199 per person for “taxes and fees”. FRAUDS!!!!!!!

Too much to type details, but hope this helps someone.

Scam, a BIG ONE!

This is a BIG SCAM. The presentation was just pressure to make you buy something that you can not double check immediately, the don't allow you to use your phone.. At the end and after 3 hours of sales torture by the sales person and the managers, finally they agree to let you go and returned your $40 US dollars (Credit Card) deposit, with a gift card with multiple conditions to be activate. To resume, this whole GIFT SCAM is just not right. You have to pay $50 dollar in advance to apply for the reservation, submit the reservation via mail with 60 days in advance, not to chose dates 7 days before or 7 after a holiday, pay $33 per night, $5 per child, among other conditions. So, at the end, we ended loosing not just time with our family but money. Somebody has to do something to end this kind of unprofessional and bad sales practice.
