I was Mr. Hockersmith's first patient when he opened many years ago. Over 20 years now. He had always been very helpful and put his patient's well being first until now. I do not go to medical doctors or chiropractors for every little thing. Only when I am in dire straights. I had moved back into the area after being gone two years and needed Mr. Hockersmith's immediate help. My neck was out which caused me to black out. It is an ongoing issue that Hockersmith would correct. I had to wait for a ride to Hockersmith's office where I was blacking out and called first. He said to come down and he would take care of me. We drove to his office. Waited 20 minutes in his waiting area. I told my son to go to the ATM since Hockersmith likes cash. Hockersmith ran out the door to tell my son to bring $25 instead of the going rate. He called me back to a table for 10 more minutes waiting. Then came in and very rudely told me that where I had not seen him if FOUR years (again, just moved back), and that I was near 70, he would not work on me. He wanted me to have two consecutive sessions but I had to be to a mandatory meeting the next day at 6am and could not. He refused to work on me. To his senior patients and those considering using him, STAY AWAY FROM GENTLE TOUCH CHIROPRACTIC AND KEVIN HOCKERSMITH.
