In 2009 I became a lifetime member. I received the magazine for about 2 years. I also received info on some collections, some of which I purchased. I didn't realize that 2 of the collections were never finished until I started rearranging all my collections. I have tried to call them, but both numbers I have go to telemarketing services. One of the numbers I called gave me another number & said it was customer service for the History Channel Club. I dialed the number & it was for T-Mobile cell phone company. I have written 3 letters & so far they have not been answered or returned. How can such a respectable business like the History Channel be so devious as to lie & cheat the people who are interested in history? Since they air a channel on TV, why doesn't the FCC go after them for false advertising & why doesn't the Department of Justice go after them for stealing people's money with promises of membership which is not delivered? I believe the History Channel should be taken off the air until they make good on their promises.
