I wanted to try a new nail place and heard about the new rave being the SNS nail so I thought I'd give it a try! ENORMOUS MISTAKE!!! I no sooner left the salon to go grocery shopping at Costco. Was emptying the groceries out of car and one of my nails broke.
Drive to salon to get it fixed but they were closing so had to come back the next day which I did. A different guy did the repair. Thought everything would be fine but this was not the case. 3 days later another nail broke then 5 days later another and then another last night. I have had artificial nails done off and on for years and not have this happen.
Today, I am at a different salon and was told by the nail technician that you cannot put SNS product over acrylic tips. Of course no one at Herbal Nails told either me or my daughter this as she has her nails done the same way.
We feel that we were intentionally mislead by this salon in order to make money during the COVID 19 crisis. We paid a lot to have the SNS nails done BUT now have to spend even more money to have them taken off and a whole new set of nails applied. All of this in 2 weeks.
I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend Herbal Nails again.
July 7, 2020 Update: Yesterday after receiving the notification that the manager from Herbal Nails responded to my review posted. I called the Salon several times yesterday to speak with Sinal. First call, I left a detailed voicemail with my contact information. Time passed and no one from this business called me back so I called again. I was told by receptionist that Sinal would not be in until later that day. I waited again and no call back so I called again. This time Receptionist said she would not be in and offered to text her (Sinal) and I said yes. Again no response from Sinal.
I called again and told the girl that if Sinal really wanted to settle this situation as they had two times already to do so but failed when the second nail broke in a week. Not calling the customer back just proves that there is no intention and the business response to my posting is just full of "hot air!"
I felt the nail situation was bad enough and at that time was not going to mention the pedicure results my daughter had from the same salon. See pics!
