I had parked my car in the shopping complex area. I went into CVS pharmacy for shopping around 8:15pm. After finished up my shopping I went to have a cofee with my friend in the same premises where I parked my car. After some time when we came out I did not see my car its vanished. I was scared. It was here just before. How come it vanished when I was in the shopping complex. where it is gone. After enquiring there we came to know that my car was towed away by HENRY WRECKERs. Without any reason.
This is really bullshit, what I supposed to do at night. After this we went to their location. When we explained what was happened. they are least bother. They told me to pay money first and take your car or call this number to talk to their manager not now but tomorrow morning that's it. They are not ready to hear anything else. They can tow and earn money from us but do not want to hear anything.
I took that number and I did same what they told me but that is also vain. Tried two numbers which they gave me. TIM's 703-763-4404 and 703-698-8900. I had been called so many times. Everytime was going into voice mail. Left voice mail but no response. With this I came to know nobody want to really help people like us who had been ripped off for the sack of money.

We know this is not correct but still they are ripping people like us. I don't know how this bad things can be stopped.

They sit around parking lots watching people come and go particularly on days when they know there will be a function of some form as was the case on Sat., 21 Nov. That day I went to my bank to request my tax documents; unfortunately, their system was down so I decided to leave the premises and left my car in my bank’s parking lot, which incidentally was 95% empty. So, it wasn't that I was negatively impacting the patronage of the shopping center. However, little did I know these predators were sitting there watching people come and go. I returned a few hours later to find my vehicle gone.
Upon retrieving it, I noticed something underneath had been damaged, but of course they denied it. I filed a complaint and drove away but quickly returned to let them know that I was dragging something – they had shattered the engine pan UNDERNEATH the car. I told them to take a picture, because they were going to need it, but they refused. Instead, one of their guys went under the car and shoved the piece up as though that would fix it.
The following Monday, I called to follow up and got manager Debbie who not only refused responsibility, but was extremely rude – told me I should take better care of my car, because I had other small dings on it. Which were in an entirely different area than the damage they caused - and as if that gave them an ok to add more damage to the car. I then went above her and spoke to her manager, Fred who was no better. Rather, he deferred me to his insurance company who would determine fault. Guess who their insurance company sided with? what a joke. Bottom line, they are predators who will tow you at their leisure, when in fact they should only tow when called. And who WILL damage your vehicle and not man up to it.
To make things worst, personnel will go out of their way to intimidate you. I will also go as far as to say too that they will target minorities as was the case when I was towed - the majority of the people who were there to pick up their car were minorities, if not all. I made it my business to look around the room - perhaps their strategy is that certain minority group would just pay up and not say or do anything about it. Or, was this just a coincidence?
Tuesday, 12/20/16, evening - Returned to the parking deck of the Merrifield I complex to find my vehicle missing from a legal parking spot. After calling police tow line and discovering no report of a tow, I reported the vehicle missing. While awaiting arrival of the dispatched officer, I walked into the neighboring Sea Pearl restaurant and learned from the restaurant manager that Henry's Wrecker was the contracted towing agent, and that they were notorious for towing vehicles from the deck for frivolous or no apparent reason. I then called to discover that my vehicle had just been towed for "Expired Tags", although it had its Temporary Tag clearly posted in the window & dashboard (as instructed by VA DMV)
A short and fruitless line of inquiry followed. Asked whether he saw the Temporary Tag prior to towing the vehicle, the very rude staff on duty, Dave, said no.
Would he look now to see the tag?: 'No, you'll just have to come and pay $150 to get your vehicle back'. Given that he'd towed the private vehicle of a patron with legal tags from a parking lot without reason, would he return the vehicle: "I don't care, you'll have to come and pay to get your vehicle..." and so forth and so on.
On the way to the , I told by the police that my only recourse was to call a number to file a civil complaint against Henry's. And on arrival, the fee rose to $160. Having seen extensive complaints against Henry's on the internet, had the local restaurant manager confirm their predatory towing behavior, and a friend called enroute to pickup say that Henry's had perpetrated a similar predatory tow of a car from that person's own driveway, I'm interested to know whether others have filed any legal action against the company for illegal towing.
Henry's wrecker "service" has one of the worst reputations in the country. The outfit prowls; seeks out vehicles to steal; stores on private property lots without permission and rapidly runs to steal more vehicles. I had a vehicle that would not turn over. I parked it on a broad shoulder and it was AT LEAST 5 yards off of the roadway. In LESS THAN 12 HOURS, Henry's pirate, abominable thieves STOLE my vehicle and sent me a bill for $6547.00!!!! Henry's put their filthy hands on my vehicle, hooked it and, without my permission, towed it behind a fence on a lot that they MAY HAVE owned, or may be not. When I called, Henry's said the police ordered it towed! THAT WAS A BRAZEN LIE!! My vehicle was well off of the road and, by no stretch was it in anyone's way, nor on anyone's property. I told them that they deserved to be indicted, tried, and, if convicted, hanged.
Henry's then sent me a bill for $6547.00!!! For STEALING my vehicle, not servicing my vehicle, not giving my vehicle back, they demanded 6547 for PIRATING my vehicle!! I then sent them a bill for 15M for the mental stress they caused my family and I. Henry's never responded. I later sent them a bill for 50M for the mental stress and the additional stress. My mail was returned to me!! Member of an honorable "towing society". SURE!!
Others have told me of Henry's pirating. Henry's was prowling, looking for vehicles to steal in a residential area. There was a sign that COULD NOT BE SEEN and henry's was attempting to STEAL vehicles in that general area. A good Samaritan told the henry's driver that she was going to knock on the doors of all the residents and tell them what henry's predators was up to. The henry's pirate drove off.
A man told me that his friend, a doctor, said that he could use his { the doctor's } space. henry's abominable, heinous, criminal anti-service began to hook up his vehicle in order TO STEAL HIS VEHICLE!! The gentleman told the henry's driver that he was NOT to steal his vehicle, and that he had permission to park there. The henry's driver said "I'll let it go this time". The gentleman said "No, you will never steal my vehicle".
This is the rule and not the exception regarding henry's abominable, criminal, predator, pirate service to the devil.
