CRIME STARTS AT THE TOP AND TRICKLES DOWN TO THE FINANCE MANAGER. After catching the finance manager in fraudulent and criminal behavior, I brought it to the General managers attention, and he proceeded to want to push it under the rug and try to placate me with a very unfavorable deal. It is quite clear, that the unprofessional and inappropriate behavior that is exhibited by yet again, another Hyundai dealership, says that CRIME STARTS AT THE TOP, and trickles down to all that are employed. The manager made no reasonable attempt at trying to make the crimes that I caught right.
They tried to slip in a 1k (gap insurance) policy, I neither needed or wanted. They slipped in a 1k Simonize package which keeps the smell out of your carpets and vents. The manager says "come on in and I will give you the premier service" but unwilling to put it in writing. They offer a 300 off of a ridiculously overpriced 60k mile service, then when I decline the criminal and fraudulent addition of products on my bill, they state "we are not going to give you the discount off of your oil change". This is what you get when you deal with people who are thirsty for business, but will do whatever it takes to get you to be screwed, but don't realize there still are a few smart cookies out there.
Please check back frequently to always see what companies are treating the customers well, or trying to rip them off. You will always see an honest review and one with great explanation. You can be assured I am always looking out for the customers best interest. Dealerships are always dishonest, you just need to catch these crooked activity before you sign on that dotted line. It's best to always have a second eye review all charges at the end so you don't overlook something when they rush you out of the finance office after they don't even let you see what you are signing. The push all the signed paperwork over into a messy pile hoping you will not read it before you leave and then get buyers remorse over their dishonest behavior. Caveat emptor.
My husband and I purchased a 2014 Hyundai Azera from this dealership. It needed an alignment and there is a shimmy and bouncing from the tires that they stated they would fix. Also, after our purchase were told the SD card for the vehicle is in the managers desk and he went home for the day. We are unable to utilize any services from the vehicle without the SD card. I called the following day and was told they were going to pull one from another vehicle, I never heard back and had to call and inquire again about the SD card and am now told they ordered it. I also spoke with Blue link and tried to at least get that activated and they told me it would have to be manually reset by the dealer since it is still listed under the previous owner. We made an appointment for the car that we had to wait over a week for (far past the 3 day return policy). My husband arrived at 8:30 for a 9am appointment and proceeded to sit there until 2:30pm when they finally said it was ready. Then when my husband asked about the status of the SD card he is told that they have to check with the auction lot and if they don't have it they will have to order one to be shipped overnight, then he asks if they reset the blue link and is told they will just do it when they get the SD card. My husband drives the car home and waits for me. I actually know quite a bit about cars and immediately notice that the alignment is still off and there is still a shimmy and bounce in the tires. We call back today and now have to wait almost another full week to take it in again and when asked today about the order status of our SD card are told that we have to wait until they can talk to the auction lot. This place is chaos! Absolutely no communication or organization and gives the customer the run around. I would not have purchased a vehicle from them at all had I known they would use unethical practices. Wouldn't you think they would have the car prepared to list prior to not just listing it but selling it to someone?? Where is the compensation for the time and inconvenience this has caused our family? They couldn't even offer to give my husband a ride home or get some food for him? They sure did make sure we had water and snacks when we bought the car! Don't waste your time and money here! This company does not care about customer retention.Update since my last post... I still do not have my SD card and the car still has not been fixed properly and now every rim is scratch as well as the rear bumper! Third time taking the car back. Trying to work with corporate to get it resolved. Perhaps the best thing is to give the car back. So stressed...what a horrible experience! Just to put this in perspective, it has been 19 days since we bought this vehicle and we still do not have it fixed properly nor have we received one call about the SD card (or anything else for that matter). Again today we left a message about the SD card..... Still waiting. So the dealer had my car for two days, then calls and says that the SD card they ordered is no good and it's going to take 3 more days to get a new one. When we get to the dealership the writer then begins to show my husband the SD card that is no good. I ask "what was wrong with the steering? What did you replace?" His response of "Excuse me?" (with attitude of course) and then a response of "nothing" almost set me off! Now we are talking to the GM trying to get something done... I go for a test drive with the Tech and heard every excuse in the book. I also overheard the tech say that the wheel being straight is about perspective. Really? I also overheard it was off over 7 degrees. How is that perspective? And how if I wanted it fixed he would have to do all this and that. Well that's not my job is it? It's yours! At this point I should be driving off the lot with a new car! Come on Henderson Hyundai! Not all women are uneducated about cars! Stop treating us that way!!!Today is the day the car has to be registered. Writer left a message for my husband last night that they worked on the column and the GM said "that's as straight as its going to get". I am assuming that they were not able to get a new column for the car even tho I do not think that is the problem to begin with especially since the alignment was so far off and the tires were bad. Either way they were not made aware of the scratch on the back bumper nor the nicks and scratches in the rims since they have been working on it so that just shows how much we were really listened to. Oh and as of yesterday they still did not have the SD card. So now what? Why should I take ownership of this lemon? Should be a frustrating and irritating day! Don't buy from these people! Buyer beware! So it is obvious they just said what they had to to get us out of the dealership. Car won't be ready until tomorrow afternoon, supposedly... It has to be registered today, they said they would take care of the registration and first month's payment and now the attitude is completely different. "it's up to you if you register it or not" you already took ownership. Last thing he told us was that he would also search for a comparable car. "So what is it you want? Maybe I can find a service to take care of it for you." My blood pressure is so high! Oh Surprise! They are taking care of the registration. Don't even know if that is what I want but at this point I just want this to be over! Amazing that they prolonged this all the way out to exactly 30 days! WORST EXPIERENCE OF MY LIFE!!!So I don't understand why I was given a smog paper then called and told we need to smog the vehicle ourselves in order for them to register the vehicle. I have to wait until Monday to get my plates. In the meantime... We took the car to another dealership and we're told that the alignment was off. You have got to be kidding me right??? No. They are not kidding. I do not know what else I could possibly say at this point. It has been one thing after another. Over 30 days and the blue link has not been updated either. If we cannot get out of this vehicle thru Henderson Hyundai we will have to look at pursuing other options..Finally plates are ready right? No way! Couldn't be! Nope not at all. What I just saw I cannot believe. They turned in my plates but here I have a tag for the plates they turned in??? with no plates at all? So your left with registration for a plate that no longer exists. How does that happen? This dealer sold me a lemon!! Can't fix the car then to top it off has screwed up every single detail of everything they have a hand in. Made promises they did not keep, falsely sold me a certified used car that wasn't certified at all. I've tried to ask the dealer to replace the car with something else, was actually told they would do a collateral change and even offered to take the loss on my trade and was told now too bad for me I can always trade it in for something else. What? Check my timelines, I have been to the dealer countless times, traveling across town, have called over 20 times, even emailed the GM and after 34 days still have no resolutions from this dealer other than receiving my SD card at day 30, am certain we were taken advantage of in finance being pushed out the door at the end of the night, had to take the car for a second opinion to a different dealer and had to have that dealer submit the change of ownership for my blue link as that was never done, align my car as they informed me it was not done or not done properly, car still has a shimmy in the tires and I'm driving around with a loaner plate! I have all this documentation, time to get some guidance on what we can do from here. Finally received the plates but of course the car is not fixed. I want out of this car and want my 6k for my trade so I can buy elsewhere!
