HealthRight Reviews
I was under the impression that I was being contacted for my pain management therapy as I was seeing a new specialist at he Hartford Pain and Joint Specialist in Hartford Connecticut. Healthright said that they were calling about my pain management and the use of CBG oil but they needed to ask some questions for the on site doctors to perscribe the best pain management for me.
They asked for my insurance (like all my doctors do), my pharmacy and my date of birth. They asked if I wanted to be on automatic refill and have it sent directly to my home so i would always hav the meds. I said yes, but then changed it to no. So I don't know what they are going to do. I should have checked up on th company before giving them my info but it was all so business like when I go to my doctors appointments I just did not think.
Now I don't know what to do. My doctors did not call them or give them my name and phone number. I know the woman who talked to me was Melissa, she even gave me a Patient ID number 2245074.
Health Right called me a number of months ago asking what pharmacy benefit I had. When I told them they said they were unable to work with them and would call back when they had arranged it. Got a call just yesterday , they now work with my healthcare providers mailorder pharmacy. I was asked for an increasing amount of information about my insurance, group number, who carried the policy etc. When it came to my birthdate I refused to give them any more information.
I had never given permission for this company to have anyone look at my medical records yet they were taking my word for it as far as my conditions. They promised a phone consultation with a Dr. and said he/she would prescribe a medication that would be sent to me . This medication would supposedly work better then what I was taking but they didn't know what I was taking because I refused to give them that information. After saying several times I was not interested in a service where I never saw the doctor, the medication wasn't provided through my pharmacy benefit and they did not have permission to look at my medical records they ended the call.
I called the nurse online from my insurance company and told her the whole story. She said she had never heard of such a company, she had no information saying that my insurance worked with this organization or that they were authorized through my insurance to provide the service. She said several times I had done the right thing by not continuing with the call or going through with the service. She agreed with me that having someone you don't know and never see, someone who has no access to your medical records and doesn't even know what medications you are currently taking was bad healthcare. The pharmacy Health Right said they used is called Liberty Pharmacy. She had never heard of them.
I intend to let my pharmacy know that I am not working with this company should they try and bill a medication to my account. I am also letting my Dr. know about this. His nurse also said I did the right thing by not continuing the call. Just think about it- an unknown Dr. from somewhere intended to prescribe a medication without the benefit of having my medical records, without knowing what medications I was taking or had tried in the past. No information about who was going to pay for this service was discussed. My health insurance company has not heard of them so I doubt Health Right was going to be able to bill the insurance company.
If you should be approached by this on the phone or online "medical company" please hang up before you even verify your name. There are too many unknowns here.
This is a breif report of Healthright. They sent me a text this morning saying they would like to discuss my request for a frre pian relief consultation, Iwas at work and said they could call afterI got off. Then I went back thrumy emails and Dr visits. I have bad neurapathy (spelling sorry) in my feet. At first I thought it was legit, Then I did research and thanks to your groups feedback I realized I was being Set up to be Scammed. I never contacted them, And I don't want anything to do with them. pass this on they are going full scale to get $
