Just another bunch of American scambuckets - charged my card twice, load of junkmail and offers of even more of their overpriced quack "remedies" - a load more of their paranoid conspiracy Big Pharma/Hilary Clinton ramblings - cancelled the credit card, the c/c company eventually gave me a full refund.
Most of these companies who advertise all these "miracle" cures for all ills and medical complaints are American based, where corruption and scamming the public is an accepted way of life, and the internet providers who accept their advertisements should be prosecuted
I finally had the chance to review my credit card statement and I saw a charge of $37.00 from the above Institute. The name sounded familiar but I don't know or remember purchasing anything from them. When I looked at my email I saw emails after emails from this company which provides educational info re health and wellness.I continued reviewing my whole year's statements and saw another charge from the same company on 1/22/2017 for the same amount. I called the credit card company to question this charge but they seemed to have doubted that I did not buy anything from them.If I did, I don't know what it was for.
I ordered "miracles from the vault" from health sciences institute. I was unaware that i was now on a automatic renewal for thier services which is providing a list of doctors and other people writing thier opinions for sale.
I received a email stating "thank you for your renewal" There is nowhere on the page to cancel anything. I received my credit card statement which had a charge of 74.00 so i called the phone number provided on the statement.
I asked the person I spoke with what the 74.00 was for. she stated it was for membership renewal on 10-21-2017. The amount I was questioning was billed on 9-19-2017 she stated that was for the "Health sciences institute members library of modern underground medicine The Best of Health Sciences Institute volume nineteen" I said you mean the list of others people stuff thier selling.
I requested a refund for the membership renewal and a refund. we shall see what happens.
Never heard of this company. We did not order anything from them. Don't know how they got our credit card data. We will file a complaint with the Consumers Affairs with our State Attorney in Florida.
When i signed up i was told i could cancel at any time. I Email them to cancel and they told me i had to write the company but did not provide an address. They took there money and i never heard from them again. Now im past my 30 day refund peroid by 2 days but i doubt i would get it anyways i have no interest in purchasing there product so i feel i was scammed!
Advertised on net that Hillary had something to do with keeping cure medicine from coming to USA all I am aking for a prepaid address label and credit my account and I will send the books back especially the one with Hillary's picture.
This Dr. Spreeen, albeit a doctor who "studied and graduated" from East Tennessee State University Medical School, the 126th "best" medical school (out of a total of 141) in the country, should be forced to forefit his medical license; and the advice he dolls out for $75 befits an edication garnered from one of the lowest-rated medical schools in the nation.
...and the truly funny thing is that selling advice for an annual subscription that's available free to support his mail order supplment business isnt even his most egregious maneuver. His incessant politicizing - bereft of any actual truths - is where this "doctor" shows his true colors and once again shows that the internet IS NOT the place to find well-researched and factually true statements—and certainly NOT in his ridiculous, inflamatory and just plain untrue videos.
Effectively making his paltry $75 ripoff secondary to the politically-biased lies he spreads. Avoid this man, this website, this "doctor" and this non-existant "Institute" at all costs.
Last year I responded to an online invitation from this company to subscribe for health related literature. I received literature which was , in my opinion , a load of old rubbish. My account was charged a membership fee. When I tried to cancel my subscription, only then did I realise their email messages do not contain an option to Unsubscribe. I tried to respond to their emails but messages came back to me undelivered on several occasions. I cannot contact the company by phone..I think they are based in Canada but I'm not sure. They have again deducted a fee from my account; I did get an advanced notice by email from them about this but there appears to be no way of cancelling ! im beginning to think this is a total scam. I have returned their latest envelope unopened and await a response from them. If this is not a scam,it sure looks like one. I feel Foolish that I did not notice the absence of an Unsubscribe option until it was too late. I want my money back but there is no obvious way of requesting this. Yep,it's a scam I'm thinking.
This report is not only about the Health science institute but so many other sites that also claim to have the only real source for information and or alternative health remedies for your problems. The Health science institute is deffenately Not the Only source of the collected information they advertize, That information is everywhere on the net, you only have to search for it and know how to do searches that get results, what your computer gives you when you do searches depends on what you type in the search bar.
So many people can save so much money by doing the research themselves, the products themselves are costly enough so don't also pay for the information on What you be purchasing. There are many many Holistic health site with real doctors that will give you that info freely and gladly. I have been researching holistic and organic remedies for health issues for over 20 yrs now and I can tell from experience that all that info is available And free and all you have to do is take noyte book mark it and save it for future reference. So don't let anyone con you into thinking They have all of the answers or thats the Only place you can get those answers.
Over the years I fell for the come on's in the online presentation of HSI. It makes it sound as if you will get loads of information that will truly help your health. In reality you pay them, and they they send you loads of emails promoting their own supplements and pills that may or may not work at all. With supplements who is to really say what works so I say may or may not work. What you DONT get is any information you can really use in these emails, only things you can buy from them. SO you think you are buying information to make yourself well, but all you get is sales pitches to make yourself poor.
They also offered a 100% money back guarantee. Ive been around the block more times than I like to admit and now when I listen to one of these online presentations I take careful notes on a manila folder. If I opt to try it I write the rules of any guarantee, whats promised, the cost, the date, what credit card I used, my sign in and password, etc etc etc
I had down 100% money back guarantee. I call to cancel and they tell me NO, NO MONEY BACK! I get tough with them on the phone and say listen, it said 100% money back guarantee, these are my notes and the date and time etc.
The gal put me on hold, and then later came back and said ok we will give you this much back, we will pro rate it. Since it wasnt that far into the year I said ok just to be done with them!
So I just want to warn others if they should look here, all you are going to get for your money are sales pitches for VERY HIGH priced supplements. You wont get anything that you can do yourself to improve your health at all. You are paying them to send you sales promotions for overpriced supplements. That is it here! They hace sales videos that are easy to fall for, but please DONT. Then if you do pay and ask for a 100% guarantee refund, You WONT get it.
I watched a very convincing video on line after getting an email threatening death if I wasn't aware of their "discoveries" Since I have malignancies and fine medical support which is minimal medication I was ripe for a natural cure They claim some herb or concoction to cure everything and tell you the most widely used medication are poison because the drug companies are only interested in their profit line I swallowed the line and within a moment knew I had been scammed. They even had the nerve to charge$99 instead of$37 The larger sum for a lifetime membership. I was a fool please help
I found this report in my email yesterday. I was interested and I agreed to pay 37.00 for their report on alternitive
medicine. I agreed to pay 37.00 for the book but was contacted by my bank's fraud department that I had been
charded by the company. I am not at all happy about this and I will do everything in my power to get my money back and to report to all who will listen that the company is fraudulent.
Health Sciences Institute Reviews
I purchased a book in 3-23-2017. I was unaware of a auto renewal.
Ttoday (Sun 2-18-2018) they charged to my credit card $37.00.
Of course I called but they are not open on Sunday.
I called my CC company and put in a dispute for an un-authorized charge.
It is a little strange they would do this on a Sunday!
Scam...???
