Health Research Laboratories refused to cancel or accept return after refusal of product ordered but still in processing. The product was ordered on Friday due to no remaining product left of previous order.. Over the weekend I found that I still had 7 months of the product & the purchase of an additional 12 months of the same product was an unreasonable amount to have on hand. After calling to cancel the product ordered in error & refused I found I was being forced to acccept the product even though I never got it and thought there was by law a at least a 3 day recision period for all purchases. Considering the fact that this transaction was never completed and my bank still had the transaction pending I think these business practices should be made known so other possible customers are made aware of these abnormal business ethics.
After prolonged usage of Health Research Labs' product, "The Ultimate Cardio-Cleanse," I discovered that I was having adverse side effects to this supplement, namely, my arthritic condition flared up drastically. I was in so much pain I asked my herbalist what in the ingredients might be causing the flare-up and I was told one of their ingredients is a nightshade (Cayenne or Capsicum), or a food in the Solanaceae family that is an inflammatory substance to those suffering from any form of arthritis.
Oddly enough, this component was listed in the extremely fine printed list on the label as their "Proprietary Blend." No warnings to arthritis sufferers about harmful ingredients, but added to the supplement and listed in print you literally need a magnifying glass to read! How savage and sneaky!
And speaking of sneaky ... When I tried to return a new installment of the supplement I was very rudely told that all I could return was one bottle ... ONE out of thirteen bottles in the shipment. Funny, because their website clearly states:
"We know you’ll be blown away by the results you experience, so we aren’t afraid to promise a 30 day risk free trial of all our products. Our commitment to your satisfaction is paramount, so if for any reason you aren’t 100% satisfied, we will refund your purchase. No fine print, no explanation needed; we simply want you to be thrilled with your new, rejuvenated body."
A 30-day trial period or not, one could say that their "commitment to your satisfaction," isn't as important as they claim, because if it were, the representative I spoke with would not only have had a better attitude with me when I called, they would also have tried to guarantee that satisfaction by trying to give me some type of a refund for a product I clearly have no use for.
Suffice it to say, I am done with this group of cavalier con-artists and their products. I hope that others will note this issue and steer clear of Health Research Labs as well.
