In general, it is 1 of the better bars without snooty up nose peepl {customers or help}, or over the top prices & it's not - repeat - not - a dans bar or disco watever ... & it's not a dive, either - we like the place, except 4 the music issue that this 1 nu-hire witch bee-tender she wolf generates - described belo
So,this rather niu barkeep / tendress thinks it's her duty 2 'regulate' music from the 'juke' box - 'regulate' means she has 2 like it or she rejects it, even wen we drop sum serius coin on it - & we regularly do - $20-40 buks minimum 'per diem' 4 music wen we go ther + wat we drink - maybe all at once & maybe not, but in a 'nite', yes - or day - & the other customers usualy seem 2 like the music
4 the barkeep 2 reject music only she duzn't like is not 'kosher' in any bar i wood go 2 {& i'm not jewish} - so doing this this impacts bar / biz revenue - i'm gessing we r not the only 1's she duz this 2 - so u noe wat 2 do if she did it 2 u, also

U-all shood noe we drop mor than a littl a bit in the box - i pay 4 the drinks / watever & my frend puts in 4 the 'box' {music} - it's not at all unusual 4 her 2 drop 40 - 50 buks in the 'box', & we stay 2 hear it all, 2, & pay 2 play pool on the bar tables wile we lissen 2 it - at least a ful quarter rolls' worth, if not mor, goes in2 the pool table besides wat we consume - we pay our way & don't freeload
We shoot pool ther & usualy keep 2 outselvs 4 a fair chunk of time - they hav 2 coin op tables & they recently re-felted them, so they care about that kind of thing – so do we, but warning, nu-er felt has less friction, so the balls go way farther & faster
We often spend 4 -5 ours in ther & we don't consider harveys a 'dive' - it's a nayborhood bar, period, & ther shoodn't b any kind of 'discrimination' going on in it - espeshally over music choyses & espeshally from the bartender / dress - the boss ok'd the contents in the box, rite ??
