Any customer considering joining this survey panel needs to research extremely carefully before and see all the other survey review websites giving this company 1 star. No customer service and no acknowledgement about it. It may seem nice or worth a try but the result is far from good.
I have been a member of Harris Poll Online for several years. I have been trying to cash in some of my well earned points, for over a month. I fill out the form for a reward, for which I chose an Amazon Gift Card. When I submit the form, I get a message saying that my date of birth doesn't match their records. After that, I send them an e-mail, asking them to help me clear it up. Their reply asks me for several other aspects of my profile, which I promptly reply to, with answers. After that, I don't hear from them, until I start the whole process, again. As I said, this back & forth stalling has been going on for over a month. I'm am beyond frustrated!!! I called their phone number, & always get the message that the operator is not there. I need help!
I have done Harris Poll surveys for several years. Since October I have not been able to access my site or redemm several thousand points accrued from doing their surveys. I contacted them and also tried to change my password to no avail. I even re joined and wrote to them about the problem and asked them to to transfer my points to my new account. I have received no response. When they send you a new passwoard to get noto the site it does not let you do it. I wrote to them about that and got the same password info back. The message that I am not an active member came up when I hit forgot password yet I had been doing surveys up until they wouldn't honor the accrued points. After emails with either a canned response that doesn't apply or no response at all I am disgusted. I understand the person who started the Harris Poll passed away last year but not sure if that is correct. You would think the site would alert surveyors if they were going to close it down. All I wanted to do was get gift cards for the surveys done. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do other than complain here to get what is owed to me? They claim some entity infiltrated them and ask us to change passwords. It also tells you if you did not have a secret question to ignor that request. Even following their directions completely it still will not let you sign on. I even wrote to them about that and the fact that I can't even get into my most recently registered account that is about a month old. They were a respected site but now I don't know what to think. Any ideas?
I had accumulated $30 worth of HiPoints and attempted to redeem them for 3 $10 Walmart Gift Cards. Supposedly, they would arrive by mail in 3 three weeks. They did not. I contacted them through their site to inquire when they would arrive. They responded saying their site had been down and 'please try again later'. I looked at my account there and the points I tried to redeem were gone and I could not 'try again later'.
