Booked these apartments in Boston, MA across from hospital where I was having surgery. Booking.com was the site we used. After agreeing to $2800 they send us a rental contract for $3500 and ask for a copy of our drivers license and credit card. Not what we agreed to on the booking.com website. So we asked to cancel the reservation immediately. They said to call them. We did and could never get ahold of anyone. I spent days trying to call them they give you the run around, transfer you to four or five people. They are experts at doing this.
Finally get to a person who says no problem will send you an email, here is your cancel code. Well that email never comes. Call back few days later with code, they say no can't find any cancellation! So round and round we go with this same crap while they wait out the clock on your reservation for the free cancel time limit to expire. We tried calling booking.com who are USELESS that also give you the run around. Sending canned automated email responses never getting anywhere. So I call American Express get the charges disputed and off the credit card.
Months pass and the charges show up again. Harmony Medical got it reversed with AMEX, so we get AMEX to reverse it again. Months pass, Harmony Medical puts the charge back on and this time AMEX won't take it off. So we reach out to booking.com and they basically tell us that Harmony Medical was right--despite us never signing a rental agreement and trying to cancel within 48 hours of when the reservation was made. It's disgusting this company is stealing hard earned money from people. They operate under several names but basically all the apartments across the street from Mass General Hospital are leased by them do yourself a favor an do not stay with these crooks. I hope bad karma bites them in the arse.
