Join Handshake’s #1 goal is their revenue. In order to secure their income, the recruiting platform will do anything to please the students, including covering up bad students behaviors. They are biased against employers and will damage employers for the students. Students, who know the platform will let them do anything bad or illegal, will get the idea they can do anything to employers and will be able to do anything with no consequences once they get into the society.
Some schools (including those top ranking schools) will work with Join Handshake to hide their students’ terrible conducts. With such magnitude, the harm for generations to come and society in general can’t be ignored. Join Handshake and those schools might be violating federal laws and face sanctions.
