We are an SEO firm in India and a few months back we were contacted by Monica from handmadepiece.com who wanted us to post reviews for them on trustpilot. We don’t usually do this kind of thing but they offered us good money when we had finished. We posted the reviews for them using proxy servers but told them that the reviews that they wrote were unbelievable as they were too over the top – being Chinese they didn’t realize this! Anyway when it came time for payment they stopped replying to our emails. If they will cheat their suppliers they will cheat customers too and certainly don’t believe their fake reviews on trustpilot as they wrote them themselves.
Handmadepiece.com website is full of false special offers, they offered 30% off offer ends today. I made my purchase and next day the website offered 40% off today only. Since then they offer various reductions all the time. I placed other orders from a well known online company the same day as the handmadepiece order and those painting have already arrived via free shipping, whereas the shipping I paid for on handmadepiece.com has yet to arrive.
The supplied tracking was useless just a link to the DPD tracking site which only ever says "We've received your order details, and we're expecting your parcel shortly" and no further details, 3 days after I had placed the order DPD appear to have subcontracted the order to myhermes whose tracking website al;so has no helpful information just stating "Order Generate" Will I be using handmadepiece.com again? No way!!!
These greedy crooks are selling unlicensed copies of paintings by dozens of Western artists many still alive – I have attached a screenshot. They claim that their paintings are (Inspired by) the artists but they are in fact EXACT unlicensed copies, I checked with one of the artists and he said hamdmadepiece.com are infamous Chinese crooks based in the Shenzhen pirate enclave and it is costing honest Western artists hundreds of thousands of dollars in stolen income.
Monica Lee of Handmadepiece goes out of her way to disguise the fact handmadepiece.com are located in a sweatshop in Southern China from where they churn out appaling low quality reproduction paintings. The Monet painting reproduction I ordered arrived from China and was of appalling poor quality - a 7 year old could have done better. Igore their self-generated hype and avoid Handmadepiece.com from China.
Totally, HandmadePiece finished a great copy of my favorite copy "Composition VIII". The customer service replied my every email and requirement though sometimes Monica said it would be delayed if it was weekend. But it's acceptable. They updated me every step via emails and after about 3 weeks, they sent me a photo of the finished art to preview and I asked them to help me "age" the painting and make it look like faded. It took about 3 days to get the final artwork and 7 days to deliver.
Not sure if I post the review in the right website? Anyway, good price and good quality.

Ordered a painting from them for a birthday; filled in clear details of delivery address in Paypal (which our receipt proves), as we wanted the print delivered directly to the birthday boy. Goods arrived at our door. When we took it up with the handmadepiece.com, we received emails that were, frankly, abrupt to the point of rudeness. Here's an example: "Hi the information on our database is as below to which the shipping address was entered at time of ordering as the xx, xxxxxxx Rd address. I am sorry but there hasn’t been an error on our database to which I am unable to arrange collection Kind regards "
Subsequently several emails were ignored until we started to copy Trading standards when we received an excuse for the lack of response: "apologies for not replying the your last email, our server was down for a day and emails stopped coming through" - must have been a coincidence that copying trading standards coincided with their email starting working. Their suggested solution at this point was to charge us $20 to deliver the goods for us. So, basically, they washed their hands of the whole matter. Possibly worth using them if everything works perfectly but if something goes wrong, don't expect a response or any offers of help whatsoever.

We booked a car with rentalcars by Hertz with 4500 km included. We have driven 3415 km but we had to pay $140 extra because Hertz had an agreement with rentalcars only for 2520 km included. We contacted Rentalcars and they promised to look for a solution. After all the time, they still didn't come with a sollution and respond no longer on my mails. Like the painting I bought from handmadepiece.com they double charge me and they said they will come back with me with a solution but they no longer respond on my call/text messages and email.
I bought my oil painting after reading their rave rewiews on Trustpilot. When I received my painting from China (no, they didn't send me a photo before shipping)I was absolutely shocked by the poor quality, it looked like it had been painted by a short-sighted child and after reading the factual reviews on here, it probabaly was! Pity I didn't read the reviews on here before buying from them as I now realize hat their trustpilot reviews are probabaly fake. I tried to contact them to send the ainting back but I don't get any replay from the pteviuosly pushy sales woman Monica. I've been ripped off for $325!!!
I bought a Dali reproduction painting from handmadepiece.com. They said it was 'Museum Quality' but the painting that I received from China looked like something painted by a half-blind, uneducated rice farmer. I emailed them saying I wanted to return as it was just garbage, they told me to send it back to them at my own cost and they would refund me. I sent it back but no refund and no reply to my emails. Avoid this Chinese rip-off.
