This company has no discernible customer service. Following my initial order and contact on Nov 15, no one has answered the phone, returned my calls or replied to my emails regarding the status of my order. It is now Dec 7. After reading other reviews, I realize I am not alone in this experience. I placed an order for ALMOST $1500 worth of gutter hangers on Nov 15 and I am still waiting … not only waiting for the products I ordered but waiting on even a simple phone call or email regarding the status of my order. The Better Business Bureau is now trying to resolve this matter.
Nov 15, 2021 Placed an order for gutter hangers. Total cost w/shipping $1430. Same day received a call from the company (owner) and spoke for 5 minutes. He confirmed they could make and ship the hangers, but shipping would change from option I selected. We also added the appropriate #10 hex screws to the order. He explained installation. New total cost w/shipping $1,480. We talked about the recent supply chain issues. I explained the importance of receiving the hangers so I can schedule installation of larger gutters to prevent further drainage issues around my home. Considering the production schedule and upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, we ended the call noting that shipping would occur the week of Nov 29.
Nov 17, 2021 Transaction appeared on my credit card.
Dec 1, 2021 Called company @ 1-800-661-2836. No answer. Automated message directs callers to send an email to [email protected] to check status of order. Sent email to [email protected]. No reply.
Dec 2, 2021 Called company again. No answer. Same automated message. Sent another email to [email protected]. No reply.
Dec 3, 2021 Called another number found on yellowpages.com for company @ 704-661-9999. Left message requesting callback and status of order. No reply. I have also tried calling 704-875-8335 and 704-875-6901.
It is now Dec 8 and I have received NO correspondence, NO phone call, NO text, NO shipping details regarding my order. I have no idea if my order has been produced, will be produced, if there are further delays, or if/when I can expect delivery. I've been charged $1500, but I have no products and now I’m stuck and unable to schedule my gutter installation job. Since I’ve received NO update regarding my order, I don't know if I should wait and hope that they actually send the products I paid for, or if I should try and find the hangers elsewhere and spend even more money. I’d like to hang Christmas lights outside, but I can’t do that without my new gutters installed and I can’t have new gutters installed with the hangers, so I’m back to where I started.
I realize that there can be delays due to supply chain issues, metal shortages, and fabrication schedules, but the lack of communication alone is worth the 1-star review.
It is better to under-promise and over-deliver. Customers deserve better.
