The contents of the shipments of IT COSMETICS shipments are not worth the charges and I do not use most of them. Their invoice said to call them to cancel and when I did they said they wouldstop sending the shipments but I would still have to pay for them. I ordered the shipments by phone and they are very tricky getting you to consider which type of shipments would I agree to. Very confusing too.
In Nov of 2016, I bought an early Christmas gift for my son to have clear skin upon returning to school after the winter break.
We got the 90 day suppply (about $300.00 CDN) from a kiosk in the local mall, thinking we would have direct support rather than buy it off the internet.
The clerk told us "even if the bottles are empty and it dident work, just bring it them back for a full refund"
So we have a 90 day supply and it says to use as directed for 90 days. My son sticks to teh schedule, went through the whole product. Still has pimples.
The short story is that we went to take it back but the entire kiosk in the mall was GONE!
We tried the head company, who initially said they would give us our money back but then they said, sorry, its only 60 days gaurantee.
I explained that we were told to use the product for 90 days. Anyway, they did not give us our money back he still has pimples.
I purchased IT Cosmetics from Guthy-Renker and used them for several months. After realizing that these cosmetics were not much better than what I could buy in the store, I called Guthy-Renker (IT Cosmetics) in August of 2016 to cancel my shipments. I still continued to get shipments. I called again in late September and reiterated my request for cancellation. I still continued to get shipments. October, here comes another box (which I returned). All the time my credit card is being charged. Finally, I did not receive a shipment in November or December, but did receive a bill for $80+ dollars indicating that my account was "past due". Once again, I contacted them the explained how I had been trying to cancel since August.
The credit card I was using for these cosmetics expired in December of 2016, so they could no longer charge that card. I did not receive anything for another couple of months. And then low and behold . . . after months of trying to cancel, continued shipments (and one returned), letters in the mail telling me my account was past due and threatening collection actions, what did I get in the mail???? Another box of cosmetics. Of course, I once again returned this box to them. Tell me why if you had a customer who you claim is past due on their account and you have sent letters threatening collection actions, why in the hell would you send them more shipments. I personally think some kind of legasl action needs to be taken against Guthy-Renker for their unethical business practices. To make a long story short, I have spent eight (8) months trying to cancel the Guthy-Renker projects and still am being harassed by them.
Wen by Chaz Dean sells hair care products including shampoos and conditioners. I signed on for an auto-renew subscription service with my credit card. After several purchases, I decided that I did not like the product and wanted to stop buying it. Wen makes it very hard to cancel. I contacted their billing firm about cancellation, but they continued to send packages even after the card I had on file expired.
Then they sent late due notices for these items and are now threatening collections. I'll pay the bill and send another request to cancel along with the bill, but if this continues, I will pay a lawyer to write a cease and desist letter.
Do not subscribe to auto ship with this company- or any company, for that matter. I knew better and shouldn't have. The products aren't very good, either, but that's a story for another day.
