Unethical dealership " After agreeeing to purchasing a vehicle over the phone from 1200 miles away. They asked for $500 deposit. Purchased a non refundable one way flight to drive vehicle home. Received a phone call from the supposed mgr a few days before the flight saying that they had to cancel the deal because the emissions had been Tampered with and they took it to factory dealership for repairs and were told that the 4yrs left on factory warranty of this 2016 dodge truck was void and they couldn’t sell the vehicle out of state. So I called the factory dealership they supposedly took it to and there was no record of this. I was also told they had purchased this as "green light” from ADESA auction in Sarasota fla and that ADESA agreed to buy the truck back and re-run it back thru auction as red light w/ no warranty. Of course I called ADESA Sarasota and was told that was false and had no record of the vehicle since it was sold over 2 months ago. Found out through another uninvolved person at GULF COAST AUTO BROKERS that the owner sold it to someone else for few hundred dollars more. Unbelievable greed. I guess this dealers word is worthless. Don't support businesses like this with your hard earned dollar. You'll regret it. My salesman (aka MGR) wouldn’t return my calls or texts once I called him out on the lies. Glad I put my deposit on credit card for sure. i can't imagine the lies they tell people about the condition of certain vehicles instead of the real story. Unbelievable. About as unethical as they come. PURE GREED.
