Guardian Service Dogs Reviews
In October we contacted Guardian Service dogs for services to train my dog Tank as My husband is a Disabled Veteran and to get my a service dog due to my Combat related disability as well. On October 5th, 2015 we set up a meeting to pick out a dog for me. Everything went great up until October 17th when my husband Jon Lara messaged David Proctor about some concerns we had for the dog Vinnie we adopted for my service dog training. I was currently 5 months pregnant at the time and also had a 10 month old. We contacted David about Vinnie stating that he needed some immediate attention on his behavoirs. David told us he would schedule a free quick session to try and fix the errors Vinnie was having. The problem was not fixed and we were stuck with the same problem.
Then November 12, 2015 we advised that Vinnie needed to go and that he was no longer trainable with me due to the fact he tried to attack my 10 month old son.
November 13, 2015 David got back to my husband and advised himthat they will go through the books to determine how much we out in which was ($800 for one sesson) then said they would get back to us. November 14, 2015 my husband reached out to David and asked if there was anything he could do with Vinnie and that we were afraid that the situation would get worse. David responded back that he wa our problem and that we needed to deal with the situation and try to put him up for sale (we paid $200 for the adoption)and that he had no place for him. Keep in mind he owns a business were some dogs may just not work out for some people ust like in this case. David had no back up plan in Case Vinnie never worked out. November 16, 2015 my husband contacted David once again about the money and if they came up with the numbers yet. November 17. 2015 my husband texted David again about the money and once again got no response from David. Novemeber 19, 2015 David finally respnded but only to pick up Vinnie and had no mention about the money.
On November 19th David had to come take Vinnie from our home due to us having to move very quickly as the week beore we has a gun pulled on our family and had no choice but to leave for our safety. They reassured us that they would get us our money back and that they would send it to the forwarding address. November 30, 2015 My husband messaged David once again about the money and if they have it sorted out yet and again no repsonse. December 2, 2015 David got back to my husband stating that they are still working on the amount to give back to us. We gave them the $200 dog WE paid for and the $800 session we did for one day. David included that it was tools for Vinnie that we NEVER recieved. They have been saying they are working on the account since Novemer 13, 2015. We are disabled Veterans and make only so much money a month I feel very taken advantage of from this company, When we told them we had to move out of state for our safety they have not been wanting to reply to any texts or emails. We just want the money our money back and be done with them.
