They raise our lot rent every year and give nothing back for it. They don't listen to complaints and don't enforce park rules. Local office manager says they never call her back when she calls with complaints. Supposedly, not allowed to contact them directly. They've been called slumlords by media.
This company has nothing but management who are crooks. They harass their residents to get their properties cleaned up while members of management who reside in the park live in complete hell holes. They are supposed to be the example. They hire people who have no high school diploma or GED. The area I live in the manager mysteriously quit 6 months ago and while they were there nothing got accomplished. They left behind so many code violations and they knew that and keft it for the next manager to deal with. The funny thing is the property manager and the regional manager were married and thus was allowed to happen to let parks go down hill. A new manager came in and had to inherit this mess and was in process of getting things done until they just got released for doing their job and because of employees handing in their resignation because they got called out on their actions. So this company fires people who do their job and keep the ones who screw up residents accounts withholding checks a day after grace period so they can get late charges. Maintenance worker who spends more time driving around or at his house and still on clock.
My son's story...my son bought a trailer in the Canal trailer park in Honesdale, Pa (against my wishes). I Co signed because I have excellent credit, the application is just asinine, he's not moving into a 400K house in a gated community! I'm not giving you my credit card numbers nor my bank account numbers, I can get one second approval for a major credit card and a loan at my bank with just my name and social security number!! We filled out TWO applications(for no valid reason, I'm guessing stupidity on the park manager's fault?) Maybe Louise is not used to dealing with honest people who own homes and have great credit, suffice to say, the "manager's trailer is the worst in the park..days old dog crap on her deck, her son answers the door at 3 pm and says she's"sleeping", never answers the phone ,also rampant rumors of residents being charged "late fees"because she doesn't send in lot rents on time...application says approval in 3-5 days, three weeks later (nothing!!) This is nothing but a scam, If this company was truly legitimate they would NEVER condone nor approve of people like Louise doing business on their behalf ,YOUR employees are a reflection on YOUR company. I would think any reputable company would be cognizant of that fact.
