Daryl Gross did painting and remodeling for me two years ago. I am still having to pay others to correct his mistakes and lack of ability and knowledge to complete a basic painting job, totally messing up a bathroom counter, and have had to just recently replace two doors that he totally messed up. He took every shortcut he could when painting. He didn't even bother to scrape the paint on the house or the detached garage, and now they both need to be repainted. I have never seen a painter not scrape first. The back of the garage looks like it was never even touched. Again, he took every shortcut he could just to finish and get paid.
He lacked knowlege about installing storm doors and locks. He ruined the back storm door and I had to have this replaced just a couple of weeks ago. There was no salvaging the door or the lock. It was a mess. I was informed by Home Depot, who just had to install another front storm door, that it looks like a child installed the door. None of this was cheap to fix. I was told the wrong paint was used in one of the restrooms. The wrong paint was used by a so-called professional painter. He's dishonest when he tells his office manager, his wife, that he pointed out all kinds of things to me that need to also be done, when he certainly did not.
His work was beyond shoddy. I could go on and on. Everything looked okay for the first month, but after that you could tell it was very poor workmanship. I pointed this out to them way before the expiration of two years and was offered nothing - no partial refund - and nothing else. He is an inept, incompetent, "just do whatever to finish" so-called professional, but he's not even close. I've basically had to have everything redone. I should have filed a lawsuit against both of them but didn't. He has cost me so much unnecessary funds to get his shoddy work redone. If you hire this joke, watch him carefully. Horrible, horrible workmanship.
