Years ago, when I originally looked at what is now my condo in South Palm Beach, I was warned by the realtor that the building was controlled by an insane HOA president. I'm not social or political and I didn't intend to necessarily interact with neighbors, so I wasn't all that concerned. In hindsight, I REALLY wish I would have heeded the notice!
This woman is beyond grotesque. She has nothing in her life apart from being a busy body condo n**i. She uses the building manager as her personal assistant and spy. She is allowed to constantly break rules but holds everyone to a completely different standard. On the few occasions I have had the displeasure of speaking with this suent, all she did was speak poorly of other residents in the building.
DO NOT BELIEVE anything this woman says. She will advise that you will be permitted to lease your condo after one year during your interview, but you'll later learn it's only if she approves. Do not be surprised if a realtor is unwilling to accept your listing when you want to sell. Many locals just aren't willing to come to this property. Gretchen has called the police on residents and realtors alike. She is absolutely nuts.
IVE SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST: (It's a question really)... Who are the various young gentlemen that come to visit her unit, when her husband is clearly there with her? It seems very strange...
