I invested in the greg kaake and his power house trading program. My experience was as bad as it could get. Virtually everything he told me turned out to be significantly inaccurate to the point that i believe that the program was intentionally misrepresented to me.
Greg kaake charged me $12,995 for 3 half days of worthless "training", or his version of how to trade the forex. He throws a bewildering array of stock chart patterns at you, claims he is making $8,000 to $10,000 a day, and leaves you very little knowledge of how to do what he alledgedly does. Once training began, and i had paid the fees, i had a very difficult time getting ahold of mr. Kaake. In addition, the price of the course varied from $6,000 to $13,000, however, there was no explanation for the different fees charged by mr. Kaake. Based on my experience, i do not believe that mr. Kaake’s claim to make $8,000 to $10,000 a day is accurate.
After my experience with greg kaake, i have since attened a forex training academy called mti, located in sanford, florida. They provide 3 days of live or internet training which can be repeated anytime again for free, 16 video lessons, an advisor and ongoing support and training. They have been in business over 21 years and have thousands of successful students
During my communications with greg kaake, while he did not claim he invented the fibonacci patterns, he did claim that through prayer, "jesus" gave him the number patterns. He also claims that he runs his church off his trading the forex. Greg kaake claims that he runs his ministry by training his ministers to master the forex so they can fund their churches. Importantly, at no time did mr. Kaake disclose any of these successful forex trading minsters or their ministry locations.
The truth is i don't even know if greg kaake actually even trades the forex, he will never let you see him trade, in spite of his promise that you "will be trading together", while he is trying to get your money. He is always looking for new students and will tell everyone he knows that he is looking for new students to sell them his so called "forex trading secrets".
In my experience, i believe the following are qualities of what i consider a good instructor: qualities of a good instructor:
wants to be assured that the student has a practical application and proven understating of the material provided.
this is demonstrated by the instructor’s verification that the student can successfully apply the instructed applications.
wants to see that their students succeed in the application of the material.
takes pride in their students’ achieving an equal or exceeded level of understanding of the instructed material.
always makes themselves available for the student.
I would say none of these traits are exhibited by greg kaake. He became very hard to reach after i paid for “training” and only contacted me when he was looking and hoping i could find him another student for his power house training. Greg kaake also contacted me last summer, several times asking me to find him some wealthy investors to give him capital to trade. He told me that his commission is 30% and that on the people i found to invest anywhere from 100’s of thousands to millions we would split that. One wouldn’t think that greg kaake who consistently states that he makes $8,000 to $10,000 a day would need capital.
For anyone considering doing greg kaake’s training course, please be advised that if you don’t feel it was worth the money or that you got no value out of it as i did, that if you complain or ask for your money back greg kaake may threaten to sue for complaining, see below.
I have asked for my money back and greg kaake has retained a lawyer, see below, who has threatened me if i complain about what i feel is his worthless trading scheme. The reason i am posting this and complaining to the bbb and various federal and state authorities and posting scam, rip off alerts is i am hoping to save a potential student from losing their hard earned money with no way to get it back from what i feel is the greg kaake power house trading scam.
It's too late for me but hope whoever reads this does not throw their money away on what i contend is greg kaake's worthless power house trading scam. It is however not worthless to greg kaake, who will be frantically waving the bible at you all along the way promising you anything and everything to get you money.
Following is the letter from greg kaake’s attorney:
Dear mr. Russell: please be advised that i have been retained by greg kaake in connection with your demand for repayment of your course fee. I hereby direct you to communicate only with me on this matter. I further advise you that should you publish any defamatory material regarding mr. Kaake or his classes in any forum that mr. Kaake has directed me to take all steps necessary and appropriate to protect his name and reputation. Should you wish to discuss this matter please contact me directly. Until such time as you and i have discussed this matter i advise you to conduct yourself in a manner that does not lead to unnecessary, lengthy and expensive litigation.
