Gary Kleinman (collectively, the defendants) each pled guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371. The district court2 sentenced Rund to 18 months imprisonment, Statman to 33 months imprisonment, and Kleinman to probation. The district court also ordered the defendants to make restitution, jointly and severally, in the amount of $1,740,073.51. Rund and Statman appeal their sentences. Rund also appeals the district court’s restitution order. We affirm.
Joel Rund informed that Kleinman finked out his business associates to avoid prison. He received 3 years of probation and still owes restitution to the State of Arkansas.
Yardstick Partners is a fraud.
Arkansas refers to him as a "Sweet Tooth Fraudster" - numerous articles about his dealings and court proceedings.
He has failed to pay numerous people with a Yardstick Partners company that appears to be disbanded now that he has conned Cinedigm to put up a game type show network. He does not pay talent or employees.
