So to start, I got referred to this "company" as a referal from a friend.
Green Light Automotive LLC
I am not a car person nor to I claim to be.
This is what I do know.
The transmission on my toyota camry went out and needed to be replaced. They gave me a good price and said that they would get it done quick cause they knew I have children and were willing to do a good job.
They had my car for over 3 weeks....granted it does take 21 hours of labor time normally for a tranny job.
I was charged a dollar amount for the labor instead of a per hour job, which when I was calling around that is what I was quoted for a tranny job on my car.
I was charged for the tranny. I was charged for the torq coverter, which is part of the tranny. I was also charged for the fly wheel, which is also part of the tranny.
They told me that the fly wheel was some how my fault. How can that be when I never got my car back within those three weeks.
So when I got my car back, the fly wheel inspection cover was off and the dust covers on the drivers side where not put back on, but put into my trunk. My rims ended up with lots of scratches on the front two rims and is missing a bolt.
Granted if a little rock or anything get in where the flywheel cover is not put on, it would ruin the transmission.
The car actually does in drive, doesn't go into reverse and does not shift correctly when you do drive it around.
They have stated that they would fix my car like they agreed to, but they never did.
I paid them in full. Drove maybe five miles and it doesnt shift correctly and is missing parts to cover the fly wheel.
So as of today, I still dont have a working car and my tranny is still not fixed like I already paid for.
