I signed a contract with Tony Greco with Greco Exteriors for the installation of all of my exterior windows on my home. Tony Greco guaranteed that the windows had a lifetime manufacturer warranty against glass breakage and leakage. I paid Tony Greco in full for the installation as requested, thinking that I could trust him. The windows were installed causing damage to the interior and exterior of my home, to include broken brick, and damaged wooden sills. The windows were also not leveled when installed. In addition, two windows were never installed as indicated in the contract.
I pointed out the damage caused to the interior and exterior of my home and Tony Greco stated that the wooden sills lifted up because they were rotted. I showed Tony Greco that the wooden sills, were solid, had no rot, or water damage whatsoever. Tony Greco shrugged his shoulders and dismissed my concerns. I showed Toney Greco the damaged brick and he stated the brick was already like that. I advised Tony Greco that the windows were not leveled and he stated that they didnt need to be leveled. I showed Tony Greco that two of the windows were never installed. Tony Greco brought over the contract from his truck and pressed his thumb firmly in the upper left corner of the paper, flipped to the second page, and stated that the two additional windows were not listed in the contract and left.
I reviewed the contract copy I had in my home, and found that the portion of the contract Tony Greco intentionally covered with his thumb showed the two windows as part of the agreement. I tried calling Tony Greco but he no longer would answer his phone or return my voicemail messages after having already been paid. I emailed Tony Greco and also received no response. Suspecting that I may have been scammed, I contacted the window manufacturer and learned that the windows installed did not carry any lifetime manufacturer warranty against glass breakage and leakage. I also acquired an invoice from the manufacturer and learned that Tony Greco substantially overcharged me for every window in order to pad his pockets.
Ironically, I ran into Tony Greco at the Home Depot and confronted him about everything I listed above. I told Tony Greco that he never completed the work according to the contract. Tony Greco told me to email him the contract copy and walked away. I emailed him and attached everything I had and still received no response. I am still fixing the windows Tony Greco installed to this day. Consumers Beware! This man lied, stole my money, never completed the work, caused additional damage to my home, and is a complete scammer.
Also know that Tony Greco has changed the name of his business several times, most likely after receiving multiple complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBC). Tony Greco currently has two complaints with the BBC under his new company name Greco Remodeling which was change from Greco Exteriors Improvements Inc. from Greco Exteriors, and so on. I also looked up County Records available to the public for Tony Greco and he had a criminal offense of burglary on his record. His website contains good reviews, dont believe them, they are probably fake. Please don't get scammed like I did.
