I got an associates degree from grantham. I have two classes left in my bachelors I spent $60k with this school I have two classes left in my bachelors and they claimed that i didnt withdraw within 7 days and owe them $1400 to get back into school. This school is a scam! Stay Away!
I have been a student at Grantham University for more than six months maybe almost a year. Three to four times Grantham has dismissed me from my classes claiming that I had not posted. They wait until they receive their money from the education department of student loans. This time I kept my posts with their dates to show that Grantham University is a fraud. What they are doing is taking money and having students retake the same class over again. you get kicked out of class but they have already been paid for the classes. Now I am being accused of plagiarism and I do not plan on allowing Grantham to tarnish my name. The instructor that accused me gave me great feedback and did not accuse me of plagiarism, however she turned me in for it. It has been only two weeks of school and Grantham has kicked me out of one of my classes but they have been paid for it. I have spoken with other students and they have done the same thing to them. this school needs to be stopped, accreditation should be pulled and they need to repay the education department of student loans for every student they have done this to. Grantham University is a fraud.
I am reporting this school to the department of education, to the accreditation boards that you are affiliated with, the better business bureau as well as the consumer information bureau. First you accuse me of plagiarism when there is no evidence that I did nor when this instructor graded my paper did she give feedback saying that she thought I did. She did not speak with me and this assignment is only about poorly written sentences. What is there to plagiarize about. I am reporting this instructor as well. I used information from the lecture and wrote what I thought and to be accused of something that is not true is unsettling to me and it offend me. secondly, you have put me out of a class that just started and I have my assignments this time that I turned in. I kept them because this is not the first time you have done this. I have spoken with other students and it seems that you are doing many students this way. I believe that you are getting paid for these classes, putting us out and signing us up for the same class that was paid for one time already. You want to give me 318.00 for a class that I know I am not behind in, while you profit over $1300. This is not how it works anyway according to your hand book guide. I am reporting this school for fraud because that is exactly what you all are doing. I am forwarding these emails over to every board and bureau that I can find and I am asking those other students to do the same. I will be speaking with them this afternoon because we are all sending the information where this school is committing fraud.
I did not plagiarize my work and I do not appreciate the fact this was reported as such. This instructor did not discuss anything about plagiarized work when she graded my paper and left feedback. I will report this myself to the dean of admissions, the president of this school and to the accreditation board. When I am wrong fine but do not accuse me of doing something that I did not do. I see that I have been removed from one my classes and I know I have done my assignments. It seems like this school get money in to pay for classes and then put you out of the class; I am assuming to make more money because the class has to be retaken. This is dishonest and I am tired of you all. As far as this school, you do not have to worry about me being withdrawn because I will withdraw myself and find a school that is honest. I will be sending this note to the accreditation board that you are affiliated with as well as report how you are taking financial aid from students. I am not the only student that is facing this so I will ensure to pass the information on so as to their reporting to the accreditation board.

I used to work for Grantham University for alittle over a year. This company worries more about business initiatives and less academics. For example, I am African American female and was interviewing for an internal chair position. The requirements for chair position is to have a doctorate degree. However, the guy that gets it doesn't but has more business experience. Then when I was being evaluated for my performance and great instructor evaluations, I was told you the new chair and an HR that stated my full-time position was being terminated by the 30th of January 2015. The comment was made that you're a doctor you'll be fine. It's because of your state regulations you can't work full-time telecommuting. That is not true because in NC I have friends that work full-time as a college professor. They don't want academics PHD's and African-American to hold any leadership positions there. They always pass minorities over for promotion and lied to me terminated my position. They only gave me 2 weeks notice and told me I will get a meager severance. This is a horrible place to work for, I will never work for such a heartless and dishonest for profit school that needs to be out of business!
