Back in 2010 we went to a timeshare sales pitch put on by BJ Cooke (Regional Director of Sales) for Grand Leisure Holidays. He was selling an opportunity to rent unused time at your existing timeshare property by becoming an RCI Points owner of a timeshare property at Sunset Harbor Resorts in Willis, TX.
The sales pitch was, if you buy a week at Sunset Harbor you would be a life time member of PRL ( Point Rental Liquidators).
Now that Sunset Harbor is with drawing from RCI, you loose your points and have to use your week there or you pore more money into the cesspool by joining their club. That simply adds insult to the injuries caused by BJ Cooke. (I always want to spell it BJ Crook.)
What is amazing is that his team really seems to have made a profit on this deal and faded into woodwork. No class action suites, no criminal charges, no nothing.
Meanwhile, the Sunset Harbor team reaped profit from all the proporties his team sold and now are looking for more money from the victims. Not good form.
