Bait and switch.....they leave out tiny details such as size......they leave out things such as shipping can e combined. "Won" 2 remingtons on the site. Received 1 box, both items shoved in there. The bubble wrap clearly states baby remingtons, their site however does not, their emails also do not, their website mysteriously failed to mention that also. They sent both "bronze " statues in the same box and charged shipping and heir fees on each statue....how nice....they save shipping while dumping it on you. I know my rights I have filed a report with my CC co. I am going to file a BBB complaint, and contact the California states attys office. Do not let the owner bamboozle you by saying I wish you would have contacted us first, I called twice and eat messages...2 days later no return phone call. There is nothing worse on the planet than liars, cheats, & thieves...this pathetic example is one for those horrible examples of Rip off, scam artist, liars, deceivers, and thieves!!!
Purchased what I thought was just a bit over $5000 worth of jewelry from GovernmentAuction.com in 2011 through an auction site called Proxibid, where they were selling their wares I did do some research on the seller, but at that time I didn't uncover anything. I knew the actual value wouldn't be as high as the appraisals, but that doesn't even come close to what the reality is. Essentially, I bought a bunch of junk.
I stored it in my basement not thinking anything about it, but got a peice appraised recently and it was frankly embarrassing. Now I'm well past the window for a return, but will be looking into making a claim w/ Chase since I did purchase them with their cards and nthis is clearly not what I was expecting to be purchasing.
I spent $5020 on the jewelry, and after all the s/h, buyer's preiums etc, came out to ~$6200. They are now on eBay, and I encouage anyone who reads this to not bid on their items. Unfortunately with this company, you do not get what you pay for.
