I like the pan. I really do. Shortly (3 weeks) after receiving it, I'm getting an email every other day that looks exactly like the below, sent from [email protected]:

The number seems to go to some place who don't identify themselves, just says "Thank you for calling, we are closed. Please call back during our normal business hours of 8 am to 9 pm."
Uh, it's 7 pm eastern right now when I called. I tried to find the number, and I found a BBB Report for AB ROCKET listing this number.
My bottom line is: Gotham Steel is NOT secure. My information, including my name, has been stolen or sold to some hackers. The email looks like a Nigerian bank scam. It isn't legit. The email address isn't them, obviously. But they have my full name. The "File Number" they reference isn't anything to do with my order number.
Second Bottom Line: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR SECURITY.
I am very disappointed with the performance of your Gotham Pans. I can honestly say that my experience with the pans was certainly not consistent with the products advertising or commercials and did not live up to my expectations.
I purchased your 9.5 " and 12.5" frying pan and they initially seemed to cook and clean up easily at first. After awhile, food stuck to the pan and various areas of the surface allow it to continuously show black burn marks. Scrubbing doesn't remove the marks. Now food burns very easily and it's impossible to clean the pan regardless of soaking and scrubbing. I followed the directions and never used non-stick cooking sprays or oil.
Food slid off the 9.5" frying pan the first time I used it, so, I bought a bigger pan. This one also worked fine the first time, but after I'd used it and hand-washed it a few times, the pan is NOT non-stick at all. It's no better than any other pan. The non-stick claim is a complete lie. The website claims
Everything slides right off — No oil or butter needed -- THIS IS UNTRUE!!!
I took a picture the charred surface of the pan to prove it. After handwashing the pan a few times, it was not non-stick at alll.
Eggs burned to the bottom of the Gotham Steel frying pan, belying the video on gothamsteel.com which shows eggs sliding right off.
I called Gotham Steel customer service at 888-326-0978 to demand my money back, and was told I have to call 1-800-423-4248 to make my complaint. When I called that number, I was greeted by an automated voice listing numbers to press for bunches of different products, but not the Gotham Steel frying pan. When I pressed a number for 'other,' I was left on hold endlessly listening to a voice assuring me someone will be right with me. No one ever answered.
I called the first number again and was told I'd have to use my own money pay to ship back their defective product. So I wasted $32 on this product already, and they want me to spend more money on it?!
