This store is controlled by a Guatemalan street gang who menace other customers, assault them, and steal from them. The management has refused to do anything but punish the victims of the assaults. These gang members also sexually harass female shoppers and staff, brandish box cutter blade weapons, and they blatantly smoke drugs inside the store. Goodwill management is totally unconcerned that this location has become extremely violent due to more than a dozen gang members effectively taking over the role of management.
Management refuses to take any positive action whatsoever, and seems strangely on the side of the huge gang who are allowed to take away huge amounts of goods while paying almost nothing for them. This gang of illegal immigrants was banned for life from the Portland Goodwill shops due to violence and disruption, so they have moved themselves (and their terror and abuse) north to Seattle. I was punched with a closed fist in this store, and I did not even strike back. I was thrown out of the store and the Guatemalan gang member was allowed to remain.

Once they hired me back that day she should have been fired asap. Her and daniel are very racist toward African American customers and workers. they act nice but they are wolves in sheep clothing back staners. Once Levin got fired they talked about the manlike dog all of them.
They was about to fire me so I resigned now that im spreading the word they ban me from Frankfort because one of they new cashiers went off on me . I never disrespect t any workers on the register or off God bless America.

I witnessed the employee Elizabeth Robles harrass my friend Susan while we were shopping and she called police stating my friend was threatening her which was false and I chose to leave due to fear of my safety if this girl was willing to lie to police who knows what she would do. A week later we went in to shop and 10 minutes later a police officer comes up to me to ask me to step outside, I was detained accused of causing problems and given a criminal tresspass warning stating I was never to come to that store again. I was so shocked I told the officer how is it possible when I did nothing wrong but they said because the employee wants us banned and she's the employee therefore there's nothing I can do. I find out that although these officers ran my name and found nothing they failed to run Elizabeth Robles' name for if they had done that they would have found 7 warrents out for her arrest for prostitution, possession, and 2nd degree aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. And she used to be a police officer apparently a dirty cop but it explains why these 2 officers didn't care what I had to say. I have always respected law enforcement, my uncle was a sherriff but have no patience for these so called dirty cops especially one with the character of Elizabeth Robles, its sad really.
My daughter and I went into Goodwill with no desire of a specific purchase. We head to the shoe department randomly seeking a heel type sandal which compliments her growth as a women. There’s 2 sections to the shoe department; desirable and just because. This couple; 400 lb plus women and her over 6 ft tall slender "husband” with their child in the stroller covered in goodwill merchandise. Both my daughter and I respectfully gave them room for viewing and in response she: the women uses her body weight against my 11 year old barely 60 lbs child to grab up a pair of shoes which appeared they came from a dumpster. My response in her action was; excuse me? She responds; excuse me? in a provoking tone whereas mine was in concern. My reply thereafter was; if my daughter or another child may be in her way to please say excuse me.
From that moment she and her husband expressed mannerisms unkind and without cause.
I politely asked them to leave and reluctantly through their verbal standers they left. In that moment my daughter and I continued shopping without regard to the situation which had just occurred. Moments later the women returns with the shoes she grabbed in pushing my daughter. She took that opportunity to confront me once more but more so to my daughter harassing her. I and another guest asked her to leave. Moments later her husband returns approaching my daughter screaming at us. I then capture his picture and said; sir I will call the police.
An associate comes by to see what transpired and the customer spoke for me assuring her that I was in the right and they were in the wrong. I continued shopping. Seconds later Lucia Lagardo and Misty (Managers) tell me; you are now trespassing and I’m calling the police. I tried to explain myself but they continued walking away IGNORING me and were instantly on the phone with the police allowing that couple to make their purchase while I stood in front with my daughter as the shoppers watch us as we call the police on behalf of the assult upon my daughter. Realizing the unjust my daughter and I leave without police contact. I call to another goodwill after making contact with Misty Being told I’m no longer welcome at 83rd nor any other goodwill.
I had no opportunity to explain myself and when I spoke with Lucia briefly only she and Misty allowed enough time for their communication rather than mine also refusing to bring attention to the cameras validating their reasoning to my dismissal. Not only am I being slandered by them. They brought police into a situation without true cause. My daughter was physically assaulted and harassed and neither manager cared nor felt the need to address the concerns of our affairs within their store. I later spoke with an officer over phone (he was kind) and told me until he or an officer make direct contact with me; I’m not trespassing nor can those ladies make that claim. Nevertheless, my daughter deserves no remedy in the eyes of Lucia nor Misty. They rather slander our character than find clear validation to what my complaint is. I feel sad I’m unable to protect my daughter from people who clearly have a way of hurting others. I blame Lucia and Misty. They shouldn’t be in a felid of hospitality when they have none.

This Goodwill is a non-profit franchise owned by the following persons: Joe Mendez, John Sweet, Mark Klingerer and Paul Klingerer. These men were well off to begin with and thanks to the items you give away to the retail stores and Donation Express shops, all four are now quite wealthy and their personal assets continue to grow.
What you do not know is this: Goodwill receives so many items from the public and have such high prices, they cannot sell everything. Rather than allow other charitable organizations have access to any of this, clothing is dumped on the floor of property leased at the old Army Depot where much of it is destroyed by rodents. Glassware and furniture is run through the industrial compactors at the Date and Franklin plants. And, yes, there has been more than one compactor fire due to misuse and overuse. In December of 2016, a young man who had been employed less than one month was killed when his head was crushed in the compactor at Franklin. Goodwill settled out of court and within weeks no more was heard about this incident.
For those of you that bring food donations for the River City Food Bank, those donations are not getting there. Depending on where the donations are getting picked up some go to the Franklin plant where they are tossed in the trash. And, no, the food is not sorted to determine if it's past the expiration date. It all goes in.
To add insult to injury, Goodwill then trucks the crushed items and food to the landfill where they spend over $30,000 per month on fees to dump. So you can see that a lot of the money received from the sale of items you gave away goes in the owners' pockets and the landfill. Not only that Goodwill states they claim all of this to the IRS so they can receive tax breaks! Quite the racket, isn't it?
I'm not going to even bother telling about the numerous times they've scammed me!! Let's just start with the Ipad I bought off of their website at shopgoodwill.com. After winning the bid, they ship me this thing that's got an ICloud lock on it!! Now, for those of you who may not be tech savvy, what this means is that this Ipad isn't worth diddly!! I can't access anything on it....no web, no apps, NOTHING!! It's utterly useless!!
Now...if they had said in the description that it was locked through someone else's account, that would be MY fault for buying it. But no mention of it being locked was anywhere in the description!! So I'm just stuck with a useless Ipad, unless I need something to use as a paperweight. It's a very real possibility that this thing may be STOLEN!
I don't even see how this company can call itself a charity, since while it may help a few people with disabilities, it's nothing compared to the amount of revenue generated! The next paragraph is from the Better Business Bereau's website:

Goodwill's website will have an item listed. Everytime I place a bid the same name bids right after me for atleast $50 more. If I let them win the bid,2 days later it's relisted. The employees bid on their own items to make more money and screw the consumer that's trying to buy it.
I always wondered what the function of Goodwill Stores were. They seem to be everywhere and act like a retail business. In fact Goodwill is a major player in brick and mortar retail stores. Clearly Salvation Army, AmVets, and many other “similar” stores provide important services during a disaster or simply assisting individuals, but Goodwill is different. Now I can offer a most unpleasant “Goodwill Experience.”
Someone foolishly gave me a $50 Gift Certificate for Goodwill for my birthday. July 27th I went to the Clarence, NY Store. I found 2 basketballs, one marked $2.00, the other $3.00, a plate, some electronics in a bag, and a broken Polaroid Pronto camera that was marked $3.00 and dated 7/25/2010.
I went to the cashier at 12:55. The cashier was a male about 5'10" and was either Pakistani, or Malaysian. That really doesn't matter. He first examined both basketballs and overcharged me a dollar for one. Than he looked at the broken Polaroid Pronto camera and said that someone has changed the label with the price of $3.00. The actual price he said was $31.00! The employee was not wearing an ID badge and he closed the money tray when I brought my items up to pay for. I wisely used my MasterCard. The receipt says User SH and it is Ticket# OFF42-168261, Station 42, 7/27/2016, 12:58PM. The problem is that Goodwill looking to benefit from the expectation of customer that they are raising money for something and aren’t. This offer credence to the attempt by Goodwill to create an on-line site to compete with Ebay with employees of Goodwill shilling for their employer to increase the bids? Apparently the on-line Goodwill was a failure.
These people say they are about helping others... but helping themselves to a child's property more like it.On August 18th of 2015 Was the last time I walked into this thrift shop and the old bag at the counter told me 6 year old Niece she was NOT allowed to shop with it and told her to leave her bike at the counter LIKE SHE DOES EACH TIME WE GO INTO THE PLACE to donate or buy.so we leave it at the counter and not even five minutes later she stole it and sold it to someone.they blamed us, they steal from a child and they blame us.. it is baffling. I called corporate and told them that they stole the six year old bike and sold it for a dollar and the woman's response was "Everything in the store is a dollar." that does not justify that they stole from a child.but i find out later by a friend who was shopping that they saw it BEHIND THE COUNTER. so she basically stole it for herself.... If it was not time consuming and money consuming I would sue them or just the old bag....
I've been donating to goodwill for 20+ years never taking time to actually go and browse inside. I finally decided to go inside and look at all the donated items that people just like me have given to " try to make a difference ". I was horrified and disgusted at the prices this place sells these items they get for free from us! A used baseball cap/ hat anywhere from 1.99-5.99??! Really??! A used coffee mug no less than .99? It's clear the "Goodwill" is really "Greedwill" and my friends and family I will no longer be donating to this so- called charity. After visiting these places I searched online and CEO Makes 900k a year of free items we give!! I'm appalled! Goodwill hides behind the words "helping others"but it's clear owner is only helping himself to get rich!

I called corporate and told them that they stole the six year old bike and sold it for a dollar and the woman's response was "Everything in the store is a dollar." that does not justify that they stole from a child.but i find out later by a friend who was shopping that they saw it BEHIND THE COUNTER. so she basically stole it for herself.... If it was not time consuming and money consuming I would sue them or just the old bag....
I've been donating to goodwill for 20+ years never taking time to actually go and browse inside. I finally decided to go inside and look at all the donated items that people just like me have given to " try to make a difference ". I was horrified and disgusted at the prices this place sells these items they get for free from us! A used baseball cap/ hat anywhere from 1.99-5.99??! Really??! A used coffee mug no less than .99? It's clear the "Goodwill" is really "Greedwill" and my friends and family I will no longer be donating to this so- called charity. After visiting these places I searched online and CEO Makes 900k a year of free items we give!! I'm appalled! Goodwill hides behind the words "helping others"but it's clear owner is only helping himself to get rich!
