I'm trying to save my house from foreclosure. I gave them $3,000. I called my mortgage company and all things were denied. I keep trying to call Golden state Services in Arizona and they very seldom call me back. I just found your article and discovered they are fraud. I'm starting with another company, but with them I don't have to pay until they can help me. I'm not sure if I can get my money back or not now.
Golden State Services promised to get my mortgage modified with my lender and failed to deliver. They accepted my money and I found out that information that should have been delivered to my lender never arrived. The deceptive practices of Golden State Services has caused me and my family a tremendous hardship.
I hired Golden State Services in or around August of 2015 to help with a loan modification. I was approved in January of 2016 according to Golden State Services and was informed that I wold receive my paperwork within a few days. After not receiving it I contacted golden state services to inform them of me not receiving the paperwork from my lender I was told that they look into it and get back to me. Which they never did I continuedo to make several attempts to contact them thru email text phone call fax but would receive no response. Finally after sending a fax that I would file a lawsuit I was finally contacted. Only to be told that they closed my file once I was approved. Then later after talking with them they said I told them to stop talking to my lender when I asked for proof of this accusation I was told I would be contacted the next day. Which no phone never came. After several more attempts to contact them and finally get a call back I was assured on July /01/2016 I would receive a refund and it would be mailed out on July /05/2016 . No refund ever came when I was able to make contact with Golden State Services they denied the refund and said that I broke the contract because I spoke with the lender in March of 2016. Yet the only contact I have had with lender is in June 2016 and they told me they have not heard from Golden State Services since January 2016 so how can they I spoke with the lender in March of 2016. Any attempt you try and make with them to resolve this matter they either laugh in face or talk to you like your stupid. Or there famous line we've been in business for 8yrs and haven't been sued yet. Be aware there just out to Scam you and Fraud you believe I have the proof to show it.
