We purchaed a membership in this company in September of 2013, where it was agreed that we would NEVER have to pay any annual (or other) fees in order to retain our "membership", and would have the same access as people who have Timeshares. Just recently (as of Dec. 2016 I understand) we were prevented access to their website claiming that we were due to pay an annual fee.

This is in violation of their original contract, and is grounds for them to refund us our membership fee.

On Jan8,2010 we attended a resort presentation at the Playa Grande Resort in Los Cabo, Mexico. We were offered and purchased a life time membership to Gold Crown Resorts GCR for a purchase price of 3000.00 we paid with Master Card and our sales slip is made out to GCR. This membership is for 50 years with annual dues waived for a period of 50 years. We have now been blocked from their site and have been told we would have to pay a yearly fee to remain with them. When we questioned them we were told we never paid them any amount and that we paid another company, Promotora Cabo Pacifico. We checked our statement from Master card and someone without our knowledge changed the recipient to Playa Grande Resorts. When we realized this had been done we contacted Gold Crown Resorts and their representative Michael Morrison assured us by email that we were absolutely correct in that we were now responsible only for holidays booked thru their website. We have all pertinent information emails,sales slips etc. As they now say they have explained their position they no longer wish to communicate with us. One of the reasons we purchased it was because they assured us this was a Canadian company but have now moved their operation to Florida so as a Canadian am not sure how to proceed. We would be willing to discuss a solution or be in contact with other people who have also been duped. Yours Truly, Les Schultz

I became a Gold Crown Resort member in March 4, 2014. My contract also stipulated that all future annual membership fees would be waived for 30 years. In December of 2016, I was denied access to the Gold Crown membership website untill I had remitted my annual fee for $89. I called Gold Crown and it's affiliate ( Promotora Cabo Pacifico) to complain but my complaints fell on deaf ears.

This fee is illegal because Gold Crown is responsible for any contracts entered with it's affiliates that sell memberships to potential buyers, based on their instructions.

I am also requesting a FULL refund purchase I paid on 03/04/2014.

I became a Gold Crown Resort Member in 2011. The Contract stipulated that all future fees would be waived. In Dec. 2016 Gold Crown notified me that unless I started payingan Annual Fee of $89 I would not be able to access my membership.

This arbitrary fee is illegal-I never agreed either in writing or implied that I would pay an additional fee. This fee is a violation of my membership contract.

Therefore, I am requesting that the entire purchase price that I paid on 9/07/11 be refunded to me.

My wife and I were in Oahu and were approached on the street to attend a 60-90 minute presentation which offered 5 star vacation destinations world wide at a fraction of the cost. They listed that they were affiliated with Gold Crown Resort which has impeccable reviews online...I should have done my internet research while I was attending. This company uses hard sale tactics and pressure to buy a contract at like 19-26% interest.

I was paying $157 or so per month, and everything was fine. My CC became compromised and my bank sent me a new card. By the time this was caught, the company sold my contract, reported me to a Collection agency and wanted over a $1000 to get back on my payment terms, which we could not do. So, instead we tried to negotiate a settlement, a buyout of contract, which would have made them thousands, and us nothing. They would not budge.

I then received harassing phone calls to my Cell, my work, my wife's cell sometimes several times per day. I would simply ask if they are willing to settle, and the collection agency Omega RMS is perhaps the rudest collection agency ever.

I am currently trying to reach Donna Galaretta at 702.467.3613 it is my understanding she is my customer service liason but have been unsuccessful in reaching her.

When I called Gold Crown Resorts they tell me they can't help me and refer me back to Frontier Wholesale Marketing as they are the ones that sold us the contract. This is shady business dealing with two different companies, now three if you factor in the Collection Agency. No one wants to help, no one wants to negotiate, and I feel I am just spinning my wheels.

I would like a complete refund on all payments, one, because I never used any services. Two, because the servies they promised were guaranteed to be 5 star -- which when we used the website to search there were clearly never any 5 star available during the times we wanted to use them. I consider that a breach of contract, false advertisement. Gold Crown Resorts has a great reputation, if they value their reputation, they should be demanding higher standards of those companies that sell services, (vacation packages) for them. Frontier Wholesale Marketing as well as Omega RMS may just be doing their job, and be feeling the pressure to sell a certain number of contracts.

My advice: if you attend one of these seminars they are looking to take your money, pure and simple. If you ever have a problem paying, they will not work with you.

My contract number was 010-31-69337 I was doing my due diligence to just get out of it. Which they allow, you pay another few hundered dollars and they let it go. They don't do this very easy apparently.

Buyer Beware! You are looking to have your credit ruined if they report a large balance.

I should have known something was fishy when they were trying to sell me a very expensive package, but we had negotiated it down to around $5k...$157 per month was something easy to handle. But not if anything went wrong and it did, very wrong. Gold Crown Resorts as well and Frontier Wholesale Marketing have left a very bad taste in my mouth and trying to get anyone on the phone is just ridiculous.
