1) They got us for $150...and we still didnt get a TRIP.

2) AFTER you tally up everything (fees, new date selections, taxes, extra stuff, port availability), it costs more than it would to take the trip on your own.

3) Dates you select are NEVER available. We tried for a YEAR to get available dates.

4) The only dates/times/port they had available were outrageously priced and for a port that we could easily drive to, thus canceling the benefit of the paid air travel.

5) They don't tell you upfront that if your dates are unavailable, you must pay non-refundable $75 per person to select new dates. (this is how they got $150 out of us)

At the end of the day, we prepared to pay the $198 deposit, they got an additional $150 from us to select new dates, and after a year, they only available option was to pay roughly $500 MORE for a 3 Day cruise out of Ft Lauderdale. We stay in atlanta. That total was $850 for 2 people, basically $425 per person. THAT IS NOT AN INCENTIVE. That's a normal trip that I could've done cheaper with other deals and specials.

TOTALLY Deceiving with the date selection, port option explanation and just STAY AWAY. Buy a trip on your own!

AVOID GOCRV

GOCRV got me. I got a voucher for a cruise, paid $202USD, then I saw all the bad reviews after the fact. I made a mistake not checking online first. Anyway, I then called back the same day to get refund, I was on phone queue for 36mins and second time was 48mins. I spoke to someone named "Nelly" who was VERY RUDE and who claims to be the supervisor and the highest position there according to her. She also told me that she has NEVER heard from anyone who waited over 30mins on the phone which is a complete LIE! Why the heck would I say this? I don't get any benefit from waiting this long on the phone nor even if I told them I did. It doesn't make any sense whether or not I wait. She said she will request for my refund of $198USD which will take 14 days, so will see if this happens. I asked Nelly for her manager so I can provide a feedback about her but she said there is nobody higher than her but the "owner" of the company in which will not take any calls or emails.

SCAM!!!

Absolutely true, what all these reviewers state is accurate! This “Free Trip” will cost you more than if you booked it yourself, plus dates are limited or unavailable. The companies who use this promotion should definitely use someone else!

Thanks for Feeback

I'm glad I read this. A free trip was just too good to be true! Not worth it! I'd rather pick my own vacation dates and the hotel where I want to stay at.

Gocrv.com Review

They gave me a very bad feeling with their pressure tactics, as well as springing these astronomical numbers at me without warning. Every time that they said they were done and were going to print out my ticket, they came back with another, lower offer. This happened 4 times. By then I really smelled a skunk. It was obvious that they were trying to get anything out of me that they could. Also, the fact that they were demanding payment right then and upfront was fishy. I just went out of curiosity to see if it could possibly be legitimate, even though I knew that I never entered anything. Avoid Sundance vacations at all costs!!!

The review above ("Gocrv.com Review") - misinformation

I want to clear up some misinformation. 1. Gocrv is a complete waste of time. Everyone is right, they don't give you your dates, and they charge you way more than it would cost to actually go. 2. That has NO reflection on Sundance Vacations (as mentioned in the comments above) - Sundance is in no way connected to gocrv, other than the promotion that they offer for a "free" vacation. I'm also not saying that Sundance is a great company - but they at least function according to what they promise. 3. I will also say that the person I talked to on the phone at GOCRV was actually quite nice. It is clear that he works on some sort of script and is supposed to always make you pay more money, but the guy was nice. 4. I have requested my deposit back, and I believe that I will receive it in 2 weeks or less.

(5. Just because I know how the internet works - I am not an employee of Sundance. My wife and I attended their "presentation" and we walked out of there with a deal that worked for us and we are enjoying the product they provide. Most of their "deals" are bogus, but the one we have is great. If this was a review of Sundance, I would still say that you should be wary of all of their "offers" - but I'm satisfied by what they ultimately provided for us.)

Took a tour of a timeshare. Was promised a three day vacation.Paid a deposit of 100.00.They were suppose to refund the 100.00I. I was responsible for taxes. When they confirmed my vacation. I had to pay them 5.00 plus my deposit as if the taxes were that much..My daughter rented the same nights at the same place for only 160.00 so in reality I paid for the 3 day vacation I was suppose to get for free.Don't fall for this like I did,it's a money scam and we lose.

I won a "FREE" cruise at the indianapolis home show. I wwent to the time share presentation as requested the details were not to my liking they gave me the cerificate. I looked online and it looked lagit - it was under a differne name. It was not until I left my deposit that CRV showed up.

I paid $ 839.57 to CRV in the end for my "FREE" trip

I have gottne my receipt for my flight which was $232.40 to frontier in TOTAL for both flights

I have two customer that have told me they paid $139 each for the inside cabin on the cruise we were on totaling $278.

The whole trip costed CRV $510.40

They made $329.17 on my "FREE" cruise

I want to join any class action suit against plus I plan to file my own if anyone would like to join.

What a joke !!!!

Thanks everybody for the reviews was going to sign up for the vacation and then I started reading reviews online plus was reading all the fine print and when they are asking for $100 just to even get started was skeptic. I supposedly had one two trips, but the catch was I had to go look at their timeshares so I said why not. Once they were done with their presentation and then they start talking numbers they were offering Finance at nearly 16% what a joke don't waste your time unless you're planning on buying it outright it's a joke not worth it.

Not "Free"

I also got taken. Same deal. We had "won" a free vacation. I fully expected to sit through the time share sales pitch, which I did. I fully expected to pay the "deposit" of $198, which I did. I fully expected them to push an upgrade which is where I thought they were going to make their money. I did find 2 dates that worked for us. Sent in all the forms way back in December 2015 for a date in September with a backup in October. We got the notice to finalize the transaction yesterday (EXACTLY 45 days before the first sailing date). That's when the big surprise came. Those "fees" that they said you'd have to pay were almost $700. That's on top of the $200 deposit that I paid. So just for curiosity, I went on the Carnival website today. Starting from scratch, booking the exact same cruise and room with them, my total cost would be $920. So the "free" part from go crv was a $20 savings.

Needless to say, we aren't taking them up on the offer. I know my deposit is gone, but that's the cost of the scam, right?

Mark as Useful [8 votes]

Go CRV is a scam. I read some reviews online that said it is a long process, but if you follow it, you will get your free vacation after sitting through a 1 hour timeshare presentation. False. I jumped through all their hoops, including putting down a $198 deposit, selecting 3 possible travel dates and waiting for them to call me 45 days before the first date. They called me late, but did eventually send me an email with a phone number to book. When I called to book, I learned that it had to be between 9 am - 5 pm during the week and it would take 35-45 minutes (my lunch break), but okay, I waited.

Here's the Catch: Every date that I selected was super busy and they couldn't give me the standard package I wanted on those days, so I would have to upgrade and pay $500 in addition to my already paid $198 deposit, not a free vacation at all. Instead, I asked for 3 new dates. When I called the second time, guess what happened. Yup, no Standard packages available. So I asked for a refund. They told me I will get one within 14 days minus a $10 fee that I never agreed to for using my debit card. I am currently waiting for my refund.

Scam

We paid $160 deposit for a Bermuda cruise via online registration. A month later (in May) received an email to call back and book it (for July). Called them, they kept me on hold for at least 20 minutes. Then said, "we're sorry but we don't have any cruises to Bermuda available on any dates. This is a very popular destination but we do have some cruises to Eastern Canada in November". So requested my money back immediately, we'll see how long it takes to get it.

The way I see it, they essentially collect cash from people and hold it for as long they can to finance their operation. Some might be lucky and get it back. An interest free loan. A perfect business model.

Used the internet to contact this company for discounted rooms. Was sent an email to send $100.00 to them. When they sent me the next email, it was to pick my dates for a week long trip

I gave them 4 dates all of which were competely booked. I made 4 phone calls, waiting on hold for 30 minutes or more

Had to also send them another $100.00 for a 2 day,3 night trip. Also had no luck for this one. Every thing was booked. Even though I picked from their available dates.

B/S

I've been on the phone for over one hour currently on hold waiting for a supervisor as I was told we'd pay the port fees and taxes when this started in the Spring. Now they are trying to get over $700 from me for the agency fees including port fees and taxes. I called BS and asked for a supervisor and after 30 minute wait I was told one wasn't available and they'd call me within 24-48 hours. Again, I called B/S and demanded to talk to a supervisor or just give me the bottom dollar without all the added agency fees. They claim they don't know what the cruises charge for the port fees and taxes. I called B/S again as they should know up front. While on hold we've found the same cruise for less than $400 all taxes/port fees included....no $49 per person just to sign up or any other BS. I'm guessing right now as the clock shows 68 minutes...mostly on hold, we will probably eat our $98 we've paid and buy our own cruise or not go at all. The Attorney Generals office will hear about this as well as Carnival Cruise lines.

Just say NO

I canceled both my certificates because because none of them do what the promise! I was promised a free cruise from a list of various cruise lines but when they finally emailed me saying I could book, the only "free" option was a bunkbed cabin on the bottom of a Carnaval ship (P.S. - Carnaval is also a scam! After all the extra fees they charge on the boat for stuff that's included on most other lines, they are NOT cheaper!). In order to upgrade to a non-bunkbed cabin I was going to have to pay over $1,200! I can find a better rate than that myself very easily. Also, all go their staff are literally the rudest people I've ever encountered and customer service is literally good for absolutely nothing. Like they can't actually help you with ANYTHING. I also had a certificate for a condo stay where they told me all the properties would be 4 or 5 star resorts, but after some digging I was finally given a website where I could see the properties they book before I made a decision. All the properties were 1 and 2 stars at most and were not in any of the promised destinations. Save yourself some time and frustration and DON'T DO IT!

Fraud - Here's the Catch

I read the reviews and some sounded like it was a bit of a process, but if completed it, you'd get your free vacation. I foolishly tried; please learn from my mistakes! I went to the timeshare presentation, sat through it, got my link to get my supposed free vacation. I selected three (3) possible vacation dates, put down my $198 deposit, and they were supposed to email me to book 45 days before the first date. They were a few days late, but did email me with a phone number to call and book.

HERE IS THE CATCH: Somehow every vacation date I booked was so popular and so busy that they could not give me the standard package and I would have to upgrade and pay more than I was originally told (about $500 more, $700 total for a "free vacation"). So I asked to select 3 new dates instead. Can you guess what happened? I picked 3 more even more popular dates! When you call, it also has to be between 9-5 on a week day and they'll take 40 minutes to give you this information. To their credit, after the second failed attempt (and months of waiting), I asked for a refund. They did give me a refund, minus some BS $10 fee for putting down the deposit on my credit card that I never heard of or agreed to. A much better option would be to search on a known discount site, like Groupon, Living Social, Cheap Caribbean, etc.

We were able to get our dates, and our cruise was fun. We went to the Bahamas on Carnival, we had to have an inner cabin which wasn't the greatest but it was sufficient. We have another certificate we are getting ready to pick dates for. I sure hope its not going to be a problem this time around like it looks that other people are having. Was giving a 7 day condo stay in exchange for sitting through a 3 hour timeshare presentation through bluegreen vacations. Had to register the certificate on gocrv.com and pay $100 deposit/ processing fee One paper says fee, the site says deposit when you enter the credit card to pay). Dates i select are never available. We tried for a year to get available dates. We are only supposed to pay $199 approximately for the 7 nite stay Taxes, resort fees) and all quotes were astronomical Quoted me $600 to stay in ocean city maryland during the off season.) agent slipped up and admitted that retail cost was only $74 more. When i asked how this was free she stated that even getting $50 off is a promo and i said no, not when i paid $100 already and not when its supposed to be free, i only pay taxes and reasonable resort fees. Different agent quoted me $424 to stay in virginia during "peak season" and quoted that is because its peak season, yet when i call back and ask for a fall date for the same place it is only $30 cheaper. Spent hours on the phone dealing with them, and they tried to sneakily cancel my certificate without my consent. When i protested, the same agent i spoke to called me back pretending to be a supervisor She is not).

That is not an incentive. That's a normal trip that i could've done cheaper with other deals and specials.

Totally deceiving with the date selection, fees and wording. I was offered a 7 night stay in a one bedroom condo and have yet to receive it !!

Always read reviews first

Just received a call frome Sundance that we just won a free 3 day 2 night stay in Vegas. We are from PA so just the air fair would be $1000 round trip for two. So I thought maybe it would be nice only paying $89 pp, so I asked more questions and the answers we no surprise. It's just as All of you said, hidden fees. No I didn't that the offer. I used a different travel agent in the past and it worked out. E-Tour and Travel. I booked 2 backed to back trips one for 6 days 7 nights to Orlando and the other 6 days 7 nights to Datona. I had to sit through two different Time Share presentations, but for $749 round trip for family of 5 wasn't bad. Our total cost for 4 days in Disney, Airfare, Hotel, and up graded car rental for 14 days was $1600. They offered 2 four day tickets so I bought 2 more and small child was free. The provided a small car, I needed a van and the Hotel were crap so we complained and were given a Time Share 3 bedroom condo for our stay ( No extra charge) Sometimes you can find great deals. And sometimes you read all these bad reviews.

The company sold the idea that if you attended a timeshare presentation, they would give you a vacation free for you and 1 person. When it came down to it, they made you pay a deposit of $150. After the deposit, they had me pay a ridiculous fee on top of the deposit $500+ to lock down a flight with a aweful air line (spirit airlines) and a hotel in St. Thomas with horrible reviews (1 star rating). It was $50 more dollars to upgrade to a hotel with a 2 star rating. Thats $700+ in total fee's paid for a "free" trip, and by the time the trip came along, in good concious I could not go (Other travelor pulled out because of horrible travel conditions, and I was NOT traveling to a foreign country alone).

Worse part- I was not able to get a refund once the trip was confirmed and everything was paid, and I couldnt reschedule or change travelors without paying more money. This company should be ashamed!

Don't even be tempted . . .

Made deposit for 3/2 hotel with timeshare presentation. Took 4 times, selecting 3 dates each time, before we finally caved in and paid the extra for a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday booking. Hotel was wretched plus we were charged additional fees. Treated rudely at timeshare presentation (Vacation Villages). Also went on Carnival cruise with them. Ended up costing $20 more than on website. Definitely not worth the hassle. Be smart and remember "there's no free lunch . . . even if you attend a timeshare or travel club presentation." Pitch the form and be happy!

Wife got a spam phone call which she answer inviting her to a seminar for people who want to travel and get a good deal. She set up a time and we attended a 90 min. Show and tell. First, we did not buy the program! Second, this report is an opinion and is an first hand observation. The seminar was informative with plenty of caveat emptor (s) if you listen carefully. The program starting price is $10 grand and you can bargain down to $2,999 , plus a $199 per year fee, if you keep asking. Sales pressure is the same as any other selling pitch of this nature. The staff were pleasant and well versed in countering objections. You are buying access to a travel web site that suggests that they have fantastic prices anywhere in the world that awards points after purchasing travel or products thru their system.,

Points are worth a penny and can be used for other perks. After 3 hrs we walked away with a certificate for travel that was a gift for attending the seminar. To use the gift one must a fee for tax and/ or port fees if required...about $200 per person and the wholesale price of the trip. Our guess the gift will cost you$500 for two on a 7 day cruise out of Florida as an example. Why did we walk? 1. $12grand is a boatload of money to ask someone to find you a good deal like a travel agent. We don't believe in having to pay fees of this nature for the product they are offering. 2. We feel we can use our own sources to purchase similar products and services without investing $12,000 to begin a vacation and have the chance to do it for the rest of our lives. We have traveled all, over the world and we are well versed in what it cost. The return on investment , for us , is negative for 10 years or more. If you have that much discretionary income ...go for it or buy a condo in Europe, etc., buy your airfare and take a train on a pass...you be ahead of the game. Just sayin!

Very aggravating

My husband and I sat through a 2 hour class after driving the 45 min to West Palm. We received the " free gift voucher" after they just tried to sell us a $10,000 vacation package. Once I got home I immediately tried to register it. They informed me that someone else already has used my certificate number and mine was a duplicate.. already aggravated I called the number for 5 different people to tell me they have no information about it and they didn't know how to fix it. I just received a new one in the mail the other day so obviously they had to know something. After reading these reviews I'm not even going to attempt it. Pretty pissed off! Brought my family (wife and 4 kids) on a road trip / family vacation we paid $40.00 in cash for and then sat through 3 hours of bullshit with bluegreen in the Wisconsin dells. After booking our travel to Shekopee Minnesota. Driving 3 hours from home get to the hotel where we are registered Holiday in Express suites are woken up to be told they don't except the vouchers! Of course can't get ahold of any rep to clear up this miss communication. Believe me!!!! I'm coming into your office ASAP bluegreen!!!! Pissed off father!

Wish I Did More Research

Stay away. Sounds great at first, but after paying their reservation deposit and picking our dates, we only had ONE option for our trip. And the additional taxes and fees due would have been $577 for just my wife and myself, or $791 if we wanted to talk our one-year-old with us.

I get the feeling that no matter how early we were to submit dates, or how flexible we could be in confirming, there would still be a ridiculous up-charge. Classic bait-and-switch. Whatever they tell you to hook you will be too good to be true.

If you want a cruise, check Groupon and wait for a deal that will actually BE A DEAL. Go CRV is ludicrous. I say again, STAY AWAY!

OK this is scaring me

I recently just got a call from them. thought it was a gimmick until i went to their office in silver spring to pick up my reward x to learn about the timeshares they offered. i decline the offers to buy into the time shares but they still gave me a free trip (supposedly) idk how true that is, esp after reading all of these reviews.

I did get an email for me to pay my deposit so I can book my dates, etc. but i dont want to pay no $198 if im never gonna be able to go on my cruise... can someone help me?

if you ever won the cruise option... do you really get to go on that cruise?

email me: [email protected] x let me know!

Gocrv

We were told we couldo get a 3 day, 2 night accommodation if we listened to this timeshare speel. We listened to the 1.5 hour speel but only got a accommodation paper with sample sown on it. After seeing multiple bad reviewers on line, I will not pursue it

Gocrv.com is horrible. I paid my deposit to book a reservation for travel plans in April. I have not been able to get in touch with anyone to finalize my plans.

Jan 2022 I recieved an email from [email protected] stating that I won a 7 days vacation spot, the strange thing is I got this email at the same time I was contacted by Wyndham club, so I never thought of any thing suspecious, as a part of the instructions in the email, it asked to log in to www.gocrv.com and use the code that they sent in that email.

When I did use the website and logged in, it looked so legit, until I got to the point where asking for $180 fees, so I called wyndham and they didn't recorgnize the website, I called the number on gocrv website, I got an answer machine.

Then I was placed on hold for 30 miutes and no picked up, that made me search the website gocrv and the way i see them is just another scammer. I'm glad i saw the reports here otherwise, I would be calling my banks and everyone traying to get my money back.

Just be aware of those bastards, they are getting more technical and artisitic of scamming people.

Total Scam!!

As a former employee, I can say that this place is a joke. CSNG, the company behind Gocrv.com does not give true customer service. CSNG's #1 goal is to get as much money as they can from the the clients pocket into theirs. When

clients call to redeem/book their vacations, they are given a standard and an upgrade quote. Now, mind you, we were told to barely "mention" the standard quote which basically gets the client what they are entitled to at little or sometimes no additional cost. We were told to elaborate and really push the upgrade quote because it would mean the client would have to pay hundreds in additional costs which is CSNG's bread and butter. If the client is leaning towards the standard package, we were told to tell them to take some time, think about it and call back. Before working here I had never seen customer service where the goal was not to give the client what they wanted but only to shake them down for more money. I didn't last long here because I'm used to giving true customer service and in order to work here you have to be devoid of integrity. It honestly was a good thing for me not to work there. I was not meant to scam people. Things happen for a reason and for me, I'm happy to be free from that atmosphere. it was uncomfortable and frustrating as it's not something I felt comfortable doing. It goes against my nature. I would never recommend any of my friends or family to work there..this company is a total scam!!

Do not do business with gocrv, very rude people especially a girl name "nelly" who is a liar and who claims to be the supervisor and the highest position there according to her. A scam who takes your money very quickly but you will go through difficulties when you need help or refund.

Never never go on any tour for this company. They tell u it's free but i am out of 150.00 dollars 100.00 deposit+ an additional 5.32 sent then once at hotel paid additional per night fee of of 12.00 + 17.26 taxes at 1.125 percent. These people should be put out of business and not allowed to even advertise.

Fake company

When they give presentation everything looks so real and awesome but in reality, things are different because dates are not available as per our desire and at the end, we are paying more. if we buy the bundle through Expedia it's much better and legit.

They said that if we signed up today they give us a 50% discount and that offer is available today only. I request everyone before sign up of any of these things before pls do the research properly.

It seems like nothing has changed with this company!

I wish we read these reviews before we tried booking with this company! Had the same sort of issues as all the rest, never had the dates we requested available after submitting and resubmitting multiple times. Was also told we couldn't even look at availability more than 45 days before our requested date so that left it impossible to plan anything else ahead of time before things got all booked up. We decided to just give up and now we're told it's going to take 28 business days just to get a refund, not to mention the non-refundable 'convenience' fee we're NOT getting back. Company is a rip-off and Sundance should be ashamed to be associated with them and use them as a gimmick to get clients to attend.

Timeshare

It has more benefits than flaws , If you use it according and take advantage of Charter Club and exchanges it’s all good. This is a concept and like any business you have people that like your service and the same would be lousy for someone and this particular one you and your company has gone far &beyond to satisfy his complaint.Still most folks see the value and use and unite the families which is the goal. The goal is to get a week or two your loves ones and keep those memories until you hit the casket.

Misinformation

I purchased a vacation to Legacy Vacation Club through gocrv on 2/6/19. My travel is for 6/8/19. While speaking to the representative we discussed a two bedroom unit. The representative told me the second bedroom would have two beds. This is a necessity for me. While I was still on the phone but after paying I looked up the hotel online. I noticed they have two two bedroom options. One where the 2nd room has 1 bed and one where the 2nd room has 2 beds. I asked the representative again to make sure I was getting two beds and she told me since it's a "gifted" certificate she couldn't make that request that I would have to call the hotel directly. I hung up and them directly. They advised me since I booked through gocrv it would need to be them to make this change. I called back on 2/6/19 and was advised that they couldn't do anything to help me. I requested to speak to a supervisor and was told they were gone for the day but, they would call me back on 2/7/19. I did not receive a call back on 2/7. I called them again on 2/8. I spoke with a representative named David from the "Travel Assist" department. He told me that he was the highest one in charge. He stated that he can't change the reservation but that he called RCI (the company they make their reservations with) and that RCI noted my request. He said that I would need to call Legacy Vacation Club 2 weeks prior to my arrival to see if they can honor my request. I explained that two weeks before the hotel would be sold out so that the change needed to happen now while there was availability. I asked him to check for other available properties. He said that was already done on 2/6 and he wouldn't do it again. He advised that he could offer me a refund of $560 out of the $610 that I paid and that my certificate would be null and void. I explained that I wan't ok with that since I paid $610 and I want to use my certificate. He said that there was nothing else humanly possible for him to do and disconnected the phone. After that conversation I called RCI directly. They provided me with an e-mail address to see if they could help but advised that since it was booked through gocrv that their options were limited.

I am frustrated that I was given misinformation from the original representative that I spoke to. She told me my unit would have 2 beds in the second bedroom and processed my payment. Then, she changed her story stating that she didn't know. I want two bedrooms.

I am also frustrated that a voucher stating a 7 night vacation would be $199 is over $600.

Finally, I am frustrated that if I get a refund (which I don't want) it would only be partial and that my certificate would be null and void preventing me from booking the vacation that I was promised.

Gocrv apparently supplies Ble Green Vacations with vouchers for a free weeks resort stay anywhere is the US if you attend a time share presentation. Bottom line is that when you try and call them to take advantage which includes no less that a 45 minute wait every time I call, they want a $100.00 -$150.00 paperwork fee to start the free weeks stay. Then when I wanted to book a room there were no openings for 5 months.

I asked what the price was if I chose an open date and I was told that I had to pay the taxes which amounted to about $375.00. I would be staying at a resort that I wasn't interested in at a time that I didn't want to go and would have almost $500.00 invested in a FREE room. Just want to warn anyone that gets offered a free room from Gocrv to be aware of how this works. Most people just lose the processing fee when they start the process of trying to book a trip and see the scam.

What a scam!

I initially paid $99 for a 3 night get away to a destination of my choice. The accomodations were beautiful and all went off without a hitch. I sat through a 2 hr presentation that tried to convince me to purchase timeshare from BlueGreen/Diamond Resorts. I declined at the time. Well, I was presented with this voucher for a 7 night condo stay. I sent in the $100 to register the voucher (ok, no biggy). But now all of the dates that I am TRYING to book are NOT available. Is it safe to say that I just lost out on my money?! From all of the reviews, that is what it seems like!

  • Feb 27, 2018

OMG

so glad Im read these reviews,i had a bad vibe from the first call to register

  • Jun 29, 2017

i was forced to blindly mail in a $100 money order before i could even inquire about the options. i should have known this was a scam. i mailed it. then i called to make reservations and every option was hundreds of dollars more. every excuse in the book as to why each one has a higher cost. i told the person in the call center to find me any week, any city under the terms of my deal and he was not able to do this. lesson learned. if a deal seems too good, its no good!

I had the same experience as the previous complaint. Trying to book in November for May, and I am told there is nothing available when there was plenty when I selected my travel dates. The taxes and fees for airfare and hotel should have been $120 total for two, they wanted to charge $358, "custom airfare" was $551 with a 2 star hotel over a music club with 4 floors and no elevator. Internet cost for hotel is $48, airfare was roughly $250. This is suppose to be a free 4 day/ 3 night trip after attending the seminar. Glad I didn't buy into it, if this is the kind of travel they offer. I will be back to complain about the original company that is pushing this agency if I don't get my refund or they make good on their offer. Oh yeah first clue should have been that they are only available 9 - 5 eastern time, and they put you on hold for 20 minutes while they search for availability.

Not free but cheap

I got a "free trip" to LA with the better flight times for about $400 total (including my $200 deposit). The flight was on Spirit Airlines, which has mixed reviews, but we arrived and returned on time. So, not free but pretty cheap for two ladies to see LA for 4 nights at a basic Wyndham hotel (Wed - Sunday).

I just booked a "free trip" to Vegas in January for $566 total and I would be happy if the dates were better. This time my dates are Sunday through Wednesday so I am not happy about taking 4 days off. I should have tried harder for better dates or gave up. It may still be fun since I'm a fun person.

  • Jan 9, 2018

What hotel

Where did you stay in Vegas?

  • Sep 17, 2016

Same old story

Just what the others have been saying. Trouble getting available dates even though we picked them in advance. Now they are trying to get us to pick cheaper(at least I think so) destinations. Not sure what to expect from this group

  • Sep 10, 2016

No free cruise

If I could rate as 0 star is would. As with others this is no deal and they should be put out of business. You spend time to select 2 dates that will NEVER be available. They will offer a different port no where close to dates you requested. Then tell you that if you upgrade (spent more money !) then there may be availability closer to your requested dates. The same cruise states that taxes, fees & port expenses are $137.58 but gocrv charges over $300 extra !

I believe all they do is just purchase the same room you can at a slight discount. There are no cabins made available to gocrv for these offers. Never, NEVER fall for this company. Just book yourself, save money and know exactly what you are getting.
